The GlobeIn Premium Box is a monthly artisan subscription that sends you original crafts by global artisans. Each box contains handcrafted items from around the world and the stories of the artists who made the pieces.
This is a review of the Premium box, which is $40.00 per month.
GlobeIn offers one new theme every month. They also have 3-5 best selling theme boxes that they restock each month. Users have from the 1st to the 10th of the month to make their theme choice. If you don't choose by that date, GlobeIn will send a random box from what's in stock. They do guarantee that you won't receive a duplicate theme!

GlobeIn July 2019 "Sizzle Box" Review
Each box from GlobeIn contains a booklet that talks more about the theme for the box and the items inside. This little booklet is almost as valuable to me as the items inside the box because it gives background on each piece and often gives the names and shows photographs of the artisans who made them! I absolutely love knowing more about each item and the hands that crafted it.
Just a heads up, since there aren't prices listed in the booklet for the items, I'm going off the prices given in this Globein spoilers post for items I couldn't find online.
Bamboo Food Tent, Vietnam - Listed Value $30.00
Measurements: 9" x 13"
Growing up, similar tents like these were plentiful at my family's outdoor summer gatherings. Bugs+food was just unacceptable! I will admit that this tent is a little simpler than my Nana's (hers are colorfully embroidered with flowers made of straw) but that suits me just fine! The generous size is perfect for covering taller dishes too!
Hot Drops Mild Four Chili, 4.2 fl oz, South Africa - Retail Value $13.00
I don't do spicy. I did try these though, because the label said "mild." One man's 'mild' is another Megan's 'spicy', and I did find that for me this had some kick! Though I don't see myself using this, I can appreciate how decorative the silver coil is and I love the multicolored beads.
Stainless Steel Spreader, India - Listed Value $10.00
Now we are talking! I am a cheese enthusiast and curating a perfect cheeseboard is one of life's simple joys! I really like this heavy steel cheese knife and the clean white glazed handle. It is stylish enough to feel very special, yet minimal enough to work well with many boards and styles.
Chindi Handle Bread Basket, India - Listed Value $20.00
Measurements: 10" x 7.5" x 3.5"
Oooh, you know your girl loves a basket! This one is perfect for bread and rolls and the handles are covered with a beautiful multicolored fabric. This size would also be great for stashing toiletries in your guest bathroom or fresh veggies from the farmer's market on the kitchen counter.
Mezze Plate, Morocco - Listed Value $50.00
Measurements: 10.5" D x 1.5"
Our last item is so, SO pretty! I absolutely love this beautifully hand-painted mezze platter, with a design that is almost too pretty to bury under food. This would be perfect for chips and your famous homemade guac, veggies and dip, or cheeses and fruit! The color scheme here is pretty much perfect for my kitchen palette: a mix of soft blue, peachy pink, and lemon yellow!
These fit perfectly together!
The Verdict: GlobeIn was awesome this month! I love how seasonally appropriate everything felt, and thought this curation was very well rounded and complete. I am pretty much swooning over that pretty mezze platter and if I had to pick a second favorite, I would have to give that distinction to the cheese knife. I am always thrilled to add a handmade basket to my collection, and the bamboo tent was also a genius inclusion. Though the hot sauce wasn't for me, Will has already stolen it to use himself, so that is a win for me!
