Organic Plain Green Tea, Tin of 20 sachets - Retail Value $6.99
This is your standard plain green tea with no added flavors, and honestly, I found it to be a little boring. The taste and aroma were slightly nutty, but I did feel a boost of energy after drinking- I think I will use this tea up by mixing it with an herbal tea for more flavor while still getting quality caffeine.
Japanese Sencha Tea, Tin of 20 sachets - Retail Value $10.50
If the plain green tea was slightly nutty, this Japanese sencha tea was very nutty in both aroma and flavor. This had a bit more flavor than the plain green tea, and I definitely could feel it giving me a boost of energy once I finished drinking it, too.
The Verdict: I love my Harney & Sons tea subscription and I am happy to see the value of this month's box exceeded the cost. While I prefer more flavored teas than the ones sent this month, I enjoy that each month I can expect to try new teas- even if not every one is a personal favorite. Value-wise, this box has a total retail value of $17.49.
