My Fashion Crate June 2019 - Darling Pattern Dress Model Wearing FrontMy Fashion Crate June 2019 - Darling Pattern Dress Closer View Top

Darling Pattern Dress – Listed Value $45

I actually really like this dress a lot, but I clearly need some high-waisted Spanx to make this work, haha. I am pretty picky about twofer dresses, but this one has the right amount of stretch, and the waist is at the smallest part of my torso, which is exactly where you want it to sit. The top is a cotton knit blend, and the bottom feels like a textured poly blend. I also really like the red and black pattern! It's not what you might expect for summer, but I think it's great!

My Fashion Crate June 2019 - Spring Floral Scarf With Label TopMy Fashion Crate June 2019 - Spring Floral Scarf Without Label Closer Top

Spring Floral Scarf - Listed Value $35

Spring is long gone and it is much, much too hot to be thinking about scarves right now. I wish I had seen Brandi's review before I took the pictures, though, because wearing it in one's hair is a really good idea (and she looks so pretty, as usual!). The pattern and color palette are very pretty (and very spring-y), and it has a silky feel to it. I think it would have been great as a scarf in early spring, but I might just try wearing it in my hair this summer.

My Fashion Crate June 2019 - Gold Tone Black CZ Triangle Open Cuff TopMy Fashion Crate June 2019 - Gold Tone Black CZ Triangle Open Cuff Model Wearing Top

Gold Tone Black CZ Triangle Open Cuff by Sterling Forever – Listed Value $65.00

What a cool bracelet! It's such a unique design, and I think the gold and onyx would look especially great with the dress above. I also really appreciate the open design and adjustability. Bracelets are hit-or-miss with me due to my big hands, but this one was easy to put on. Well, the points on the triangles were tricky, but it was relatively easy to put on.

This gift card was also included for $20 at Sterling Forever. It's as good as cash on the site! But, I did notice last time I checked that their pieces start at about $35.

My Fashion Crate June 2019 -Showerless Conditioner FrontMy Fashion Crate June 2019 - Showerless Conditioner Back

Showerless Conditioner by Busy Beauty - Retail Value $10

I think I have tried just about every dry shampoo under the sun, but dry conditioner is a first for me! I kind of don't understand why you would want dry conditioner, actually. There are lots of leave-in conditioners and hair oils that you can apply any time, but why would you want a dry conditioner? Dry shampoo is dry because you are pulling oil out of your hair with it. When you use conditioner, you are trying to impart moisture. So this was a bit of a miss for me. It's really more like a dry texturizing powder. It does have a nice scent, though.

The following items are in the Plus Size Premium Box only.

My Fashion Crate June 2019 - Darling Floral Tank Top Model Wearing FrontMy Fashion Crate June 2019 - Darling Floral Tank Top Closer View Top

Darling Floral Tank Top – Listed Value $38

I like the idea of this cotton top, but it does not look good on me. Any kind of cap or super short sleeve does not look good on me at all, so I will probably gift this top to someone else. It also wrinkles really easily, and I don't have a ton of time for ironing / steaming casual shirts. I do really like the print and the color, though, and the buttons at the top. This would be an ideal summer top for the right person, for sure.

My Fashion Crate June 2019 - Nail Lacquer Box FrontMy Fashion Crate June 2019 - Nail Lacquer Box BackMy Fashion Crate June 2019 - Nail Lacquer FrontMy Fashion Crate June 2019 - Nail Lacquer Thumb Polished Top

Nail Lacquer by Deco Miami in Better Than the Photos (6 ml)- Retail Value $8.00 (found here for $5.00)

Current mood: Intrigued. I don't think I have ever in my life used an entire bottle of nail polish, and I have to wonder why no one has thought of making these tiny little bottles before! It's brilliant! I also love the color, and I love that the polish is 8-free, cruelty-free, and vegan. It did not pass my guitar playing test, but it didn't do too badly either.

The Verdict: This month's package from My Fashion Crate was great! I love my new dress! I also really love the bracelet and the nail polish. The top did not really work for me, but it fit at least, which has not always been the case with My Fashion Crate, so I am happy that they seem to be working out their sizing issues. This month's value was outstanding! $201! Not bad for a $55.90 box!

The dress is great!

The cap sleeve top is awful. Not just the sleeves, but that straight across neckline is never good in plus size clothing. It’s a horizontal dividing line that is rarely flattering, especially as high cut at that one is. Then there’s the ironing issue, which I don’t do. I spray it with Downy Wrinkle Release and hope for the best. But I’m okay with a lived-in look.

And I wouldn’t wear the scarf or bracelet. So the question is…is that dress worth $49? I think it might be.

AH

The clothing seems to have improved! The dress is lovely on you and I think you could totally wear the top with a jean jacket (I know you love those because I read all your reviews) or maybe a white shrug/cardigan. In all honesty though, I think the top looks nice on you, but I completely understand how you feel about cap or short short sleeves. We are usually our owns harshest critic.

I am just happy to see that the clothing is more seasonably appropriate, better quality, and most of all not 2-3 sizes too small! I hope they keep it up.

Anna, I always have to check out the clothing you get and I LOVE that dress! It’s so cute and looks great on you – especially with the red lips! Also thanks for the sweet comment! 😊

This stuff is so not worth 200.00! Reading that literally made me lol

Michelle

Sorry but this stuff is nowhere even close to 200.00 value. 65.00 for the bracelet is absurd. 45.00 for that dress? No way. I’m glad you liked your stuff but please don’t try to say you got 200.00 worth of stuff.
