My Paper Box July 2019 Review
Every month, my box includes this card with national holidays for that month. This month includes national workaholics day, national video games day, national cousins day, national cheesecake day and so many more!
Personalized Sticker Sheet
I am loving this sticker sheet! I love everything about it including the floral patterns, tea pot, and my name in the banners. I really love the different fonts my name is in. The non-Carol stickers are great seals for letters. I am thinking I will save the ones with my name for notebooks or journals or something. I use notebooks a lot for notes at work. I got 22 adorable stickers on this sheet.
Plans, Goals, and Remember Notepads (2)
I usually expect to receive a couple of notepads in My Paper Box subscription. This month, I received two black and white notepads with sections for Plans, Goals, and Remember. This is another great notepad for work that I can use as a weekly checklist. Each pad measures at 5" x 7" and has 19 pages.
I love that My Paper Box sends holiday-specific cards or postcards in my monthly subscription. I even enjoy the national holiday cards; they are fun and different plus everyone enjoys something in the mail other than an ad or a bill. This month, I received 3 postcards for national holidays: Cousins Day (July 24th), Aunt & Uncles Day (July 26th) and Workaholics Day (July 5th). While I will probably just send the workaholics one to myself, I plan on having the kids send the other two to my niece and their aunt and uncle. The postcards include a snarky comment and even have my return address printed on the other side. And this time, my zip code was right! *Happy dance*
Happy Happy Happy Cards (4)
Since subscribing to stationery subs, I have learned you can never have enough cards! There are so many holidays, birthdays and milestone-specific moments that require cards and honestly, I usually forget or wait until the last minute. I like having them on hand for those whoopsie moments. This month, my box included 4 black and white cards with "Happy" printed on them. I can use these for anything! Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, Happy Christmas, Happy Moving Day – it works for it all! Each card measures at 5" x 7," is blank on the inside for a perfect message or picture and comes with a coordinating white envelope. Also, the back is personalized with my name. These are great and will definitely come in handy.
Monthly Calendar Page
Every month I also receive a monthly calendar page with all the national holidays printed on the bottom. This month, though, is different. Past boxes included a calendar that I can stand up on my desk. But this month it is just a 4" x 6" card. I really love the design of this month’s card, too!
Monthly Calendar Frame
This month’s box also included a frame, which is why the calendar is different. It’s a calendar frame! My frame is nothing fancy but it is pretty. It’s a brass color and has my name on top as well as My Paper Box on the bottom of the frame. While I love the frame, I am not sure how I feel with my name on the frame AND on the calendar. It really looks a little excessive to have Carol everywhere. I do think the frame is a great idea, though. The frame has the ability to sit on my desk or hang either horizontally or vertically.
Jot Highlighters – Get a pack of 4 for $1.00
The last item in this month’s box was a pair of highlighters. Highlighters are great and I use them occasionally at work, but not often, which is why I have been using the same one for a long time. I got a pink one and a coral one in my box.
Verdict: I really do enjoy My Paper Box and am subscribed to both the Mini and Grand subscriptions. I like everything in the box every time. I especially love how the boxes look different every time and the items in the box are usually within the same theme. This month, we received an “extra” item being the frame for the monthly calendar pages. While $28.00 may seem high in price point, I feel the personalization of this box offsets it. It's very clear that each box isn't just thrown together, but is personally curated for each and every subscriber.
