July 2019 Pet Treater Dog Pack Review
This shipment from Pet Treater included 4 items, a sample item, and two promotional cards.
The first promotional card gives a code to receive 50% off your first month of “Snack With Me!” (a box of snacks for humans).
On the back side of the previous card there is more information about the “Snack With Me” box, again with the coupon code.
I love seeing the pick of the litter each month on these cards! This month features Mia. Next month you could see your dog on the card if you email them a photo! If you win, you will also receive a free item in your next box!
Look at this cute guy! He is featured on another pick of the litter promo card!
Bomber by Zeus Crocodile Toy Retail Value - $11.45
Check out this awesome crocodile toy! This big guy’s name is Crusher and he is made with Tuff Ply Technology. They state it is soft on the outside and tough on the inside because of a chew-resistant inner liner. It has double stitched seams for added protection, is washable, and features a squeaker! I have to say, Scout LOVES this toy. He is a HEAVY chewer, and while he ripped and tugged on this guy for 15 minutes, he didn’t hurt a stitch. I’m really impressed!
Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations Popsicle Cookie -Estimated Value $1.35
This is the 3rd month in a row we have received a gourmet cookie, and I’m not complaining! Each month they have featured different shapes, but I have to say this hot dog cookie is my favorite! I love the detailing of the frosting, and how their main ingredient is cheese! Scout was the lucky recipient of the hot dog cookie, and he gulped it up so fast that I’m not sure he even tasted it. Emmy’s website features a few different shapes of cookies, but not this one in particular. I did find these cute ice cream cone shaped cookies that are made of the same ingredients, just shaped differently.
Sweet Pork’Tater Tots Dog Treats
How cute are the dog and pig cartoons on this packaging? I really like how they include the ingredient list right on the front of the package along with the analysis. These treats have pork listed as the main ingredient and are made up of 17% crude protein. I definitely like that in a treat! The bag is a good size, and has enough treats to last for a couple of weeks. These Sweet Pork’Tater Tots are exclusively made and packaged for Pet Treater, so I was unable to find them to buy online, but will hope for more because my dogs LOVE them!
Red and White Checkered Bandana
This subscription loves sending these bandanas. I just wish I liked receiving them a little more. The fabric itself is nice, but the bandana is made by using a pair of pinking shears to cut the edges, and that is it. I wish they had sewn edges or were finished a little nicer. I feel this should be a bonus item and not a main item in the box. I must say though, Scout looks so handsome in the red and white checker pattern!
Sample Item: Canine Best Delights CBD Petagens
This month we also received a sample product. These Canine Best Delights CBD Petagens are supplements that are made of adaptogenic herbs with a high dose of CBD and Ashwagandha. They are recommended for dogs with pain, arthritis, anxiety, hyperactivity, inflammation, seizures, and tooth decay. Our 13-year-old lab has horrendous arthritis and struggles even with vet prescribed meds. I gave him 2 of these supplements and he gobbled them right up. Since taking them his tail seems to be wagging a little bit more. I received 6 tablets so I am interested to see how much they help!
Verdict: This month of Pet Treater was a super good one! The toy was awesome, the treat was beautiful (and Scout said “tasty”), Gunner loved the Pork treats, and while I don’t love the bandanas I felt like the CBD supplement sample made it seem fair. Scout and Gunner can’t wait to see what they get next month!
This month I received 5 items. I couldn’t find retail values for all items, but with the toy being almost $12, paying $15 for everything is a really good deal!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Items vary from shipment to shipment, so you’re not guaranteed the same items as seen here. Standard orders generally ship around the 10th of each month. If you’ve added special requests to your order (allergies, no plush, tough toys, etc.), this may add additional processing and packing times due to the extra labor involved.
ACTIVE DEAL: 50% off the first month
CODE: DOGPACK50
Value Breakdown: This box costs $15 + free shipping, which means that each of the 5 items in the box has an average cost of $3.00.
