June 2019 Pet Treater Dog Pack Review
This shipment from Pet Treater included 4 items and one promotional card:
The first promotional card shows a sweet little pup being rewarded with a Ketler PB and Blueberry dog treat!
On the opposing side, we have a code for 20% off treats on the Ketler dog treat website!
Here is a “cool” promotion! If you connect with Pet Treater on Instagram, you could win a YEAR of puppy ice cream! @PETTREATER
Also included is a 20% off doggie ice cream cake coupon from puppycake.com. I think I may have to order one for my soon to be 13-year-old pup!
How cute are these patriotic bomb pops?! This card includes the recipe for these dog-safe patriotic popsicles, but honestly, my kids want to make them for themselves!
Lastly, we have the “Pet Treater Pick of the Litter” photo. This month features Doctor Bunsen Honeydew! They also give you the information to submit your own pup photo for a chance to be the next “Pick of the Litter” and for a free item in your next box!
Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations Popsicle Cookie - Estimated Value $1.35
How cute is this gourmet cookie?! Last month we received a cactus-shaped cookie, but this month we have the ever so appropriate popsicle shaped cookie! It was a nice sized treat with the main ingredient being cheese. Because Gunner got last month’s cookie, Scout was the lucky recipient of this month’s cookie. I’m not sure if he even was able to taste it because he gobbled it up so quickly! I checked Emmy’s website, but was unable to find the exact popsicle shaped cookie. I did, however, find these cute ice cream cone-shaped cookies that are made of the same ingredients, just shaped differently.
Patriotic Popsicle Bandana
Also included this month is this large, cotton, navy blue bandana with patriotic popsicles scattered throughout. I love that this bandana has the same print that the above cookie featured, but I still feel the quality is lacking. This bandana is made by using pinking shears to cut cotton fabric and there are no finished edges. I really feel this should be a bonus item in the box, and not a main piece. I must say though, Scout really looked handsome wearing it!
All For Paws Shark Toy Retail Value - $6.00
The biggest item in this month’s box was this cute lifeguard shark toy. It is about 11” tall and features 2 separate pieces. The shark is filled with stuffing and has “Chill Out” embroidered on it, while the outer circle seems to be made of a rubbery plastic with a squeaker inside. Scout loves toys... loves to kill them. He had this shark for about 2 seconds until he ripped the seam and started pulling stuffing out. The rubber ring is still intact, and that is why it is very important to supervise your pet while they play with these! My kids are devastated every time Scout gets a new toy- they beg to keep them for themselves so they don’t get destroyed!
Blissful Biscuit Hawaiian Duck Dog Treats
Look at these cute little duck-shaped treats! They are pretty much the most adorable pup snacks I have ever seen! They are wheat, corn, and soy-free, with the main ingredient being duck. They are also made in the USA! Both of my dogs loved these treats, and we were a little bummed when we couldn’t find them on the Blissful Biscuit website, or on Pet Treater’s website.
Verdict: This month of Pet Treater was a little bit of a letdown after last month. The toy was fun, but the quality was lacking. I really liked the gourmet popsicle cookie and how it coordinated with the print on the bandana, but the bandana itself was also lacking in quality. The Hawaiian duck treats were the definite favorite this month! I’d like to see one more item in this box to really shine. We will see what we get next month!
This month I received 4 items. The subscription costs $15 a month. With the 2 retail values I found, it added up to be $7.35. Because I couldn’t find a value for the treats and the bandana, those two items would have to add up to $7.65 to break even. I don’t feel like this month was a great deal, but maybe if you have a dog that isn’t quite as destructive as Scout, you would have been much happier with the toy!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Items vary from shipment to shipment, so you’re not guaranteed the same items as seen here. Standard orders generally ship around the 10th of each month. If you’ve added special requests to your order (allergies, no plush, tough toys, etc.), this may add additional processing and packing times due to the extra labor involved.
ACTIVE DEAL: 50% off the first month

Value Breakdown: This box costs $15 + free shipping, which means that each of the 4 items in the box has an average cost of $3.75.
