Shades Club July 2019 Review
Inside the shipping box, there's a lighter weight box where your new sunnies live.
The sunglasses always come in a branded cloth pouch that doubles as a lens cloth with drawstring closure. The design always changes and this time it's an ombre yellow with the word "summer." across it in black.

The Everyday Sunglasses in Blackout - Retail Value $75.00
The featured pair of sunglasses this month has sort of a classic wayfarer shape but are a little oversized with a flatter brow. The version I received is all black (hence the name "blackout") and has a tiny pop of white where the arms meet the front. They are fully plastic with metal hardware and have the style name and color stamped into the inside of the left arm. On the right arm, you'll find the phrase "wake up, repeat." to go along with the "Everyday" style name. The plastic is slightly flexible yet sturdy so I think it can take a bit of rough wear. I have a rather small melon, so I was happy to find that they are fitted well and hug my head without being too tight. That means they have less of a chance flying off of my face at the wave pool or beach. The lenses on this style have a grey gradient that isn't too dark so I can keep these on while driving through the many tunnels of Pittsburgh.
Shades Club styles have typically been a little big on me and these are no exception. At about 5.75 inches in width, I thought they were aa little wide for my face, but they should look better on those with a normal-sized head or those who like an oversized look.
Verdict: While Shades Club sent another solid pair of sunglasses this month, and I appreciate the minimal color choice, they weren't really for me. Feel free to check out some of my past reviews to see if you think this sub has the styles you love!
