Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences. After choosing when you’d like to receive your delivery, your stylist handpicks 5 items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)
My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Stitch Fix may be completely different.

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Box June 2019 Review
This is the invoice that was included. It shows in detail the items selected for me and the brands, sizes, and cost of each piece. The total comes up to $229 after all the discounts if I opt to keep everything—which is a $103 total savings! That is almost like getting the Archer skinny jeans and Basima knit top for free!
As always, I received this handy sheet with a note from this month’s stylist, Jami! She includes some helpful styling tips for a few of the pieces and reasons for why she selected them for me. Thanks, Jami!
Liretta Chiffon Trim Hi-Lo Knit Dress by FORTUNE + IVY, Size 2x—Retail Value $54
I can’t get over how dreamy and elegant this dress is, wow! The fabric has ample stretch and hugs the curves incredibly well. The ruffled, chiffon hem is absolutely gorgeous and adds glamor and depth to an otherwise plain black dress. I styled this with disco ball rhinestone earrings and silver pointy toe flats for an understated, yet chic look. I am ready for the boyfriend to take me out for a cocktail in this ensemble!
Basima Back Detail Knit Top by Papermoon, Size 2x—Retail Value $28
Generally, I do not wear camisoles or tank tops by themselves. Mainly because I am not a fan of how bra straps look with some camisoles and I avoid wearing my strapless bra when I can! However, I do like the fit of this tank top. The back has this fantastic criss-cross strap detail that I love. I styled this camisole with the yellow jeans my stylist, Jami, sent me and some jelly flats. This is a piece that is rather versatile making the $28 price point reasonable. This would also look cute with shorts and a jean jacket when it gets cooler at night. This will translate to fall with patterned tights, a burgundy corduroy mini skirt, ankle booties, and a classic faux-leather biker jacket.
Archer Skinny Jeans by Curve Appeal Size, Size 22w—Retail Value $78
My stylist also selected these pale yellow jeans to pair with the Papermoon knit camisole top. It brings out the yellows in the top perfectly, but I must say I would not be interested in the jeans otherwise. It isn’t due to the cut—that is fantastic and fits like a dream. I just am not a fan of this pastel yellow, it is far too soft and delicate for my personality. I would prefer a mustard yellow or orange, this just is not bold enough. Otherwise, I love how these jeans fit, though they could stand to be a slight bit more tapered. Wear these with a matching pale yellow-and-white striped T-shirt and open-toed wooden clog heels for a low key, retro style summer outfit that could look great at a picnic or the office!
Madi Eyelet Knit Dress by Wisp, Size 20w—Retail Value $88
Jami mentioned that she selected this to appeal to my love of vintage clothing style. This dress does have a classic cut that is incredibly flattering. The eyelet design on it is gorgeous as well, but the coral red color is what makes this dress such a knockout piece. The beauty of a dress like this one is it can be worn for semi-casual hangouts, to the office, and even to a wedding—just change up your accessories for each. For brunch, wear the dress with a light denim jean jacket and white Keds sneakers. At the office, pair this with a cropped blazer, silver hoops, and black pumps for a beautiful, yet professional ensemble. I styled this dress with gold glitter jellies and resin glitter confetti earrings for a cute, somewhat glitzy look. Complete the outfit with a gold purse and bangles—you certainly will stun your date with this look!
Nubia Matte Jersey Midi Jumpsuit by DM Collection, Size 20w—Retail Value $84
This might be my favorite piece that Jami sent for me. Through doing subscription boxes, I have become more open to trying out different trends. One trend I always shied away from was jumpsuits. If you read my reviews, you will see that certainly has changed! This jumpsuit was easy to wear due to the cut and the stretchy fabric, but I also loved the pattern and color scheme. I usually am not a fan of magentas and fuschias, but this piece is making me reconsider how I feel about these deep purple/pink shades. I opted to style this piece with my gold glitter jellies and gold sequin earrings. This outfit is perfect for traveling in, but I can envision wearing it to the office or an event like a baby shower or a wedding. I was so tempted to keep this item, but I opted against it due to my upcoming vacation.
Verdict: I truly appreciated the pieces selected for me in this month’s Stitch Fix. It took a lot of willpower on my part to return the FORTUNE + IVY dress and the DM Collection Jumpsuit. I absolutely adored the style and fits of both of these pieces. The Wisp dress was adorable on, but the Papermoon tank and Curve Appeal jeans just weren’t for me. That being said, I do feel this box was tailored to me for the most part. I sound like a broken record, but I feel the key is to always provide ample feedback with each Stitch Fix return. Make sure to share your Instagram and Pinterest links to help guide your stylist and show them pieces you already do wear or clothing items you would want. I also can’t suggest the Stitch Fix app enough too. It is a great way to provide feedback as well all on your smartphone or tablet!
To Wrap Up:

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $352. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $244 for the whole box. Ultimately, that’s roughly a 31% discount!
