I rec’d this box yesterday…this will be my last box on this subscription. Really disappointed in the contents. Jewelry is cheaply made…shirts are cute..but not worth it… spray and oils will probably be gifted out. I really wanted to like this box..but after a year… I’m done…I’ll find a better way to spend $100.

From NE and enjoy this box. Love the beach and want to be reminded all year long of it.

“Coastal Co.” was a cool and attractive name. “Beachly” sounds like a snack from the potato chip aisle.

I am originally from Florida so the beachy themed items remind me of home although I live in a cold climate now. I just felt summer items were more geared to surfers so I skipped. I was going to cancel but they offered me $25 off two more seasons so I reluctantly agreed. I would personally love to see more stylish L.A type of clothing like the kimono and havainas from spring. Loving the beauty items but the shirts again remind me of sponsored surfer clothing.

Can you please review the oceanista box? It’s amazing

I don’t love anything in this box. Of course they charged my credit card already so it’s too late to skip. I probably need to cancel this subscription already. There just haven’t been many items over the course of my subscription that have appealed to me. Two shirts with random wording on them? Those will probably end up in the donation pile.

I don’t like the branding at all! Super big

Totally. 2 fragrances, 2 shirts with words on them, ANOTHER necklace, plus a maybe coaster, sponge, etc.
I feel like Coastal Co. at least followed the seasons of all beach fans. If I’m in New England or as I am in the PNW, these items are barely useful, whereas I felt like before they put forth the effort to offer a few home items for us who just enjoy a coastal theme or live on the cold water beaches. I am definitely thinking about cancelling. The last box that was worth the price was the fall one with the watch, we’re definitely paying the same for less. Since I’ve been charged I’ll see if the quality is there, but I don’t have a good feeling about where this is headed for us as clients. 🙁

I’d happily take the long sleeve. Lol. And I’d trade you for it.

Coasters? Not really fall colors…

This is one of my favourite boxes, love the quality of the items and the surf culture vibe. The french basque region theme is wonderful, I’m hoping the jersey is a lighter, wind barrier than a bulky pullover. I’ve dwindled my subscriptions down to just two, Beachly and My Meraki box. After two years of subscription boxes I’d rather get quality items I’d use or be proud to gift.

With the exception of the Chipiron shirt, which I don’t love, I’m actually pretty happy with this box. That being said, I do think this is a box that may have more of an appeal to coastal-living folks, and not for everyone…I’m a California beach girl. I have dealt with their customer service on an occasional basis and thought they were very good and attentive so was surprised to see the negative comment above.

Well, that’s an easy pass. I think I liked coastal co. better.

Liz, is the necklace sterling silver? My daughter’s live at the beach here in Florida and, that said, I might consider the box if it’s sterling.
Thanks!

The Misha site says necklace is sterling silver or 14kt Vermeil (thick 14kt gold plating over sterling silver).

Easy skip this quarter. I LOVE Misha Hawaii jewelry (their bracelets are usually featured in the Aloha bags photos) – but the rest would go to waste. The t-shirts are too pastel and the advertising on them is a huge turnoff. Plus, the sample we received in the last box of the Pirette scent did not make me a fan.
Here’s hoping the winter box will be a redemption box 🤞

I LOVE Pirette! Anything you’d swap for it? I skipped Popsugar and FFF this season, but I hot the Journey box and I’m still awaiting the Kind by Ellen box.

When my box arrives, I would love to swap the pirette for something!

Too bad the Wanderlust sign isn’t included…

If this were only a summer box. I’m in Ohio going into a true fall & won’t wear or use any of this for the next couple seasons. But, otherwise really like it for summer!

I’m guessing the palm print set is coasters. Loved the summer box, I got the smaller one and it was perfect because it didn’t include the clothing items, hopefully the fall one won’t either.

Dea
They appear too large and rectangular to be coasters.

Lucille
Definitely look completely square. Coasters most likely.
Leslie
Palm print things look like coasters to me.

I love the colors and the idea behind this box, but it just seems SO expensive for the items you get. Are the items of exceptional quality? What am I missing?

I feel like I would have ordered this box had the two pieces of clothing didn’t have the wording. I love aqua and the oversized fit of the sweatshirt looks perfect for me. But a random place in France isn’t my jam. The pale coral tee is okay but I would have preferred it with just the sun graphic. Perhaps I’m just too old (?) to want to advise random companies or places I’ve not been? I can imagine wearing the aqua piece and having someone ask me if I’ve been to France. Ummm, nope.

I totally agree. The style of the long sleeve pullover looks pretty fantastic, but I’m just not a fan of the words either.
If this box were half the price I’d bite, but $100 seems a bit pricey for things I probably would have never picked out for myself in a store

The only product that I LOVE is the Pirette fragrance oil, I wear it daily…but can get that cheaper on its own. The rest of the products are just fluff. No for me.

When they posted the box on their site a couple days ago, I emailed to try to skip my prepaid box, but their “customer service” told me my box was already “curated” (um, what? There is no curation, everyone is getting the same thing this season). So I said to cancel it, and supposedly they’re “looking into it” now. Not happy with this box, and it seems to get worse every season.

I REALLY wanted the Summer box. It was the only one I’d seen where I thought I’d use all of the items, so I ordered it. Apparently it was a little late because even though when I emailed I was told the summer box had already been “curated” for me and was about to ship out, I received the fall box. There is literally nothing in the fall box that excites me and I’m so disappointed to have missed out on the summer items! I asked if I could return it but they will not refund my order (although they agreed to a small credit back to my account), even though I was told I would get the summer box. Extremely disappointed and will be more careful in future about placing orders with companies I’m not familiar with.

Thanks for the warning. I actually like this box so I ordered it, but because of your post I decided to pay with PayPal so I can cancel recurring payments on my own if necessary. Hopefully it won’t come to that.

The long sleeve shirts have been popular at the Jersey shore for a couple years. You can buy them in boardwalk shops for like $20. Except they don’t say “Sur la Mer,” of course, it’s the not-quite-as-classy “Ocean City.”

I think for ppl in California and Florida who live by the beach and have the same weather year round these kinds of things may be more useful and part of the culture there so to speak? If it’s truly “seasonal” it wouldn’t make sense.

I didn’t mean that to be insulting to those that like it ladies, I’m sorry. But also, cats kick a**! 😺😺😺

I have never understood the appeal to cats, but there ya go
