Great question, Anna! Based on the information available in their FAQ, you are entering into a weekly auto-renewing subscription service. You can always modify, pause or cancel your delivery any time before 11:59 pm PST five days prior to your scheduled order.

I am going to jump!! I hate cooking and although I live in Vegas and can basically get any kind of food I want, I get sick of eating out. I have been watching reviews and this one seems like a good fit.

Sounds great, but we can’t do meal subs in my house because of the gigantic portions my husband loves to eat lol. It just wouldn’t be feasible by the time I added all the extra portions to my order. Idk how he stays so fit either eating the way he does. If I ate the way he does, I’d be 500 lbs 😂😂😂 still gonna be the grocery store for me

I signed up to give it a try. I do HomeChef, which has become very ordinary now that Kroger bought it up but it’s still very inexpensive. My favorite is SunBasket but it’s very pricey so I only do that one once a month. My favorite right now is Marley Spoon. I had quit them when they added Martha Stewart to the mix but they’ve upped their game again. I usually order 5 meals in a week and the ingredients are so fresh that I can go into the next week if I don’t eat them all in one week. But sometimes you just want ordinary meals so I am throwing this one into my repertoire. Had never heard of this one before today.
Whole Foods has meal kits as well. I usually pick up one on Sundays when I’m in the store.

I just realized how lazy I am with all these meal kits.

Has anyone ever tried this sub? Seems a bit too good to be true for a meal kit.

I was dissapointed after 3 weeks. Most recipes were bland, basic, and ingredients weren’t always fresh. I also had issues with cooking instructions and cook times. Guess you get what you pay for 🙍

I subscribe. I enjoy it very much. I love that there is a meal box that I can afford to keep receiving. The ingredients I have received are fresh and good quality and I have not had a problem with the recipe directions. The meals are delicious and the portion sizes are generous.

I did and cancelled after my three week discounted trial. The meals are basically the same thing each week and the ingredients were rarely fresh. Also, the cooking instructions were almost always way off. Never had any issues with cooking instructions from home chef.
