Loved + Blessed “Brave” July 2019 Review
Each box includes a theme card on the inside of the front lid of the box. This month’s theme is “Brave.” How difficult is it to do something you are afraid to do? Or, something when you can't be certain of the outcome? Or something that you know is the right thing to do but is hard, risky, or scary? This month’s theme encourages us to be brave, say ‘yes’ to God, and follow His lead even through the tough tasks. It’s about trusting God and knowing that everything will work itself out according to His will. This card describes the theme in detail and is intended to be a keepsake and serve as a visual reminder to be brave.
This information card further describes the theme of the box, list the items included, and their intended purpose. It encourages you to read more on the Loved + Blessed blog and invites you to fellowship with Loved + Blessed in their private Facebook group. It also highlights the charitable cause supported this month.
Mini Poster – Let Your Life Be an Arrow
This mini-poster reads “let your life be an arrow that points others to God” on the front and “your testimony can encourage many lives” on the back. It takes a lot of courage to confront your fears, be brave, and say “yes” to God. You have a testimony when you can share that despite how awful things appeared to be, you were brave, you put your trust in God, you were obedient to His direction and things turned out for the good!
Reminder Sticker – Brave Enough to Say Yes!
The reminder sticker reads: “Brave enough to say yes!” which further drives home the theme of this month’s box.
Reminder Gift: My Prayer Journal: Prayers for Difficult Times by Barbour Books – Retail Value $7.99
At Loved + Blessed, reminders gifts are intended to serve as a reminder and reinforce the month's topic. This month's box includes this prayer journal.
This pretty prayer journal contains fifty tough life topics. Each topic includes words of encouragement and scripture called "prayer starters." These prayer starters are meant to be used as inspiration for writing your own prayers to God – specific to you and your situation. There are topics such as “betrayal,” “helplessness,” and “worry.” There’s a table of contents in the front of the journal to jump to the specific topic you need.
Encouragement Kit – Encouragement Card
At Loved + Blessed, encouragement kits are meant to be shared to pass along encouragement to others and brighten their day. This month, a pop-up card is included in the box to write a note to a family member, friend or stranger and remind them to be brave. Inside the pop-up is a scripture card for 2 Timothy 2:20-21. I've received this encouragement card in numerous boxes and while it's very nice, I love when the encouragement kits are unique to the month's box and theme.
Scripture Card – Isaiah 41:13
Isaiah 41:13 is cited on this month’s scripture card.

Trusting in God and knowing that he will help you gives you the courage to be brave and conquer even the toughest of tasks!
Monthly Blog Post and Workbook
Each box includes a card (not pictured) that contains the information and password for accessing the monthly blog and workbook. This members-only content includes access to a library of resources, special events, and private sales. The blog further delves into the month's theme. The workbooks have been impressive. There is a lesson along with journaling prompts and activities for each week. There is a ton of value in this member-exclusive content. It's often my favorite part of the box!
Private Facebook Group – Loved + Blessed Ladies
The private Facebook group offers a space to connect with other Loved + Blessed subscribers for fellowship and discussion. The Loved + Blessed founder Jamila often posts encouraging videos in the group which I enjoy.
The Verdict: I loved this month’s box theme and scripture, but I wasn't too in love with the other items in this month's box. I don't have difficulty praying but, I can see how having a little coaching and referenced scripture would be helpful. Having this journal on hand during difficult times could be beneficial. The poster and the sticker didn't resonate with me however, I did really enjoy the workbook! There is a section about identifying your fears and one that explores what happens when being brave backfires.
This box is only $19.99 and includes free shipping. It’s not an expensive box and it delivers a great deal of value to my life. Loved + Blessed is more than worth the price and I’m super excited about the new changes coming next month!
