Does sephora allow you to opt out of some products ? I hate mascara or anything on my eyelashes. It seems they send it all the time as per the reviews I have read. Is there option to not get it?

I have not received any mascara in my boxes for months. I have received a TON Of moisturizer or facial products, which I am not much a fan of.

No you can’t opt out of products. Just don’t subscribe if you don’t want it and go buy your own. Smh

This was my box too! The Moroccan Oil and Bioessence face gel are both repeats for me but luckily I love them both so it’s ok. I love Nars lip pencils. I will try the Algenist cream when I run out of the one I’m currently using but I have liked everything from the brand so far that I’ve tried. The mascara is fine. I can always use more mascara. Sunday Riley is overrated in my opinion but I do like most of the products. Great month from Sephora.

I’m happy with this box! I was wanting to try the Glamglow the most out of all of the spoilers, and I’m always happy to get another new mascara to try. The Alterna will be gifted since I don’t blow dry my hair and I’m looking forward to using the remaining products.

I got this same box, my first one. I’m really pleased with it! I actually already have the Laura Mercier mascara and love it, but this one is perfect for travel.

I got the same box also and this is my last. I cancelled because of the same products that i was getting every month in my box. I like Clinique but have gotten this in three other boxes and i had only been a member since January of this year. I was looking at the reviews on the products in our box on Sephora and the REN Global moisturiser and the Caviar blow out smoothing butter did not get that good of reviews. But the mascara didnt really either but you said you liked it. I have never tried it, so i dont know yet. Hopefully you have better luck with your boxes than what i did.

This is my box too! But i am not that excited about it. I have received the Clinique moisture surge in a previous box and if you look at the reviews for the products in this box, they are not that good. Except the GlamGlow and the Clinique. Trust me, you will be recieving Clinique repeatedly! I think this is the only box that didnt get the Sunday Riley A+ Retionol. 😔

For those getting the Sunday Riley or Biossance can you please tell me what your profile looks like because for the life of me I can’t figure their system out! I have 905 and while I’m fairly happy overall I’m not thrilled with the Ren because I don’t have red or sensitive skin and would have LOVED the retinol because my fine lines could use it.😄

My main box is 913 and I’m 39 with medium skin, aging & acne. Blonde/blue

My secondary box is the same, except the birth year on that is 1952 because it was a ln account I made to gift my mil play for a year

Although after looking at the ingredients list for the glamglow, I realized I won’t be able to use it. It has lactic acid pretty high up in the list. My skin can’t handle high doses of lactic acid. Oh well.

Also not sure why my box looks so different from Luka’s if we both have #939.

I have box #905, in my Sephora App, it has different products that’s posted on here? I’m not sure what’s going on as another MSAer has been told by Sephora Customer Service box 905 is sold out? Does anyone know by chance?

I’m 905 and my app has shown incorrect products for the past few months. When I look on my laptop browser the products are correct.

Right now though I got the sneak peak email and the link is broken, so I can’t check on either!

How do you see it in your app? And what products does it say you’re getting? This is my box also. I have twice now gotten emails that were wrong about the products I was getting that month, so maybe the app is wrong? I guess we won’t know for sure until people start actually getting the boxes and posting the contents.

I have 871 and i am happy with this.
I have a few of the sunday riley and any retinol is a score.
the anti freeze blow dry cream is great to try bc i blow dry my hair every day. i LOVE the bare minerals spray. i had a sample of this already and was going to buy the full size when it ran out. it has subtle shimmer in it, and its so great for summer. i already bought the full size glam glow toner, now i will have a travel for when i go away in october! have the nars crayon, will just give away. and meh to clinique but i will use it

I didn’t like this box. Some of the products in the box were crushed when I received them so I just went ahead and canceled. Going to stick Ipsy and Boxycharm. It isn’t worth it to have to call customer service and all that. They need to get better packaging as it was the first box I received. Didn’t want to deal with that so promptly cancelled.

This month looks great to me! I wish o could find out the contents of box #871. I’ve tried customer service several times and they always say they can’t tell me but then they tell a ton of other people what’s coming in there box. That’s my only issue with the play subscription. I don’t. Sometimes I’ll look up my box number online and find out from someone that’s posted that same box’s contents. Otherwise I just wait it out because I actually enjoy surprises. Makes my unboxing remind me of looking in my Christmas stocking as a kid.

This has never been my favorite sub, but this month I realized I like way more items than not, so I went for it.

It feels like the last couple months have been a letdown between the NewBeauty boxes, Allure, Boxycharm, even ipsy. I cancelled a bunch and bought the Box of Style at half price and the new QVC TILI box.

Maybe I’m just getting harder to impress, but it seems like a lot of boxes have been weak sauce lately.

Why do they give 2 hair items and 2 moisturizers? I’ve gotten Clinique moisture surge at least 4 times this year and 2 mascaras last month.

I think that is Clinique’s newest moisture surge product and has not been in boxes yet.

No, this is the same Clinique moisture surge that they have gave out multiple times. I have box 905 and the Clinique is in it. I have gotten this twice now. I received a duplicate item last month also and only been a member since January of this year. I am so over Play, when i contacted CS about the repeat items i got a automated dont care answer. I am not going to keep paying for repeat items, especially when there are subscription boxes that wont send you the same product over and over.

Trust me..i had this box for a year, they never tell you what is in the box…and they will have the same samples over and over again..i know its just 10.00..but Sephora does not change anything..same old thing.

Figures. I resubscribed on the first can’t get this box. Apparently if you are a new subscriber and order by the 11th you get the August box, but if you’re resubbing you won’t get billed until September.

Well that sucks! I re-subscribed just because of this box. I just checked my account and I’m not going to be billed until September. Guess it’s time to cancel it again if I’m not going to get this box.

When I saw the billing wouldn’t happen until September I emailed immediately. The rep that responded assured me I would get the August box and be billed by the 5th. That day came and went so I emailed again and that rep said I had to sub by the 15th of last month to get the August box. Right on their site it says to sub by the 11th. I guess I could’ve made a new account but by that point I was annoyed and said screw it and cancelled.

That explains it. I read on MSA that if you sub by 8/6 you can get the August box. I did email but haven’t heard back yet. Now that I see the Fresh Strawberry Scrub isn’t in this month’s, I’m okay with waiting until September though.
