Items that could potentially melt will only be included in the cooler months. You may receive multiples of some items, but we will always send a good variety each month.
Some things to consider: Have a big family to feed? Feel free to order multiples, but keep in mind that it might result in doubling up on the exact same products or you could get completely different products. It will vary from month to month. Received something you aren’t interested in? Give back to your community by donating the unwanted items. Have someone you want to send a care package to like a student in college or a grandparent? Let us do the work for you by shipping this box directly to them!

Snack With Me August 2019 Review
Lately, Snack With Me has sent some recipe cards using an ingredient from the box. This month is for Slim Jim Smokehouse Meatballs which calls for 13 Slim Jims. I am positive I will not be trying this recipe. If anyone does, though, I am curious to know how it tastes (but not curious enough to try it, still!)
Sweet Tarts Whipped & Tangy, 3 oz – Buy a box of twelve 4.5 oz bags for $31.79
100 Calories | 0g Fat | 25g Carbs | 0g Protein (per 15 pieces) – Expired July 2019
I have never seen these before but I would definitely grab them again! These were so good! Each candy is a little, squishy block and is kind of sour and really packs a sweet punch. These were also a hit with the kids, naturally.
Girl Scouts Butter Toffee Peanuts
130 Calories | 6g Fat | 18g Carbs | 3g Protein (per ¼ cup) – Expired July 12, 2019
I did not expect to like these as much as I did; toffee isn't a favorite flavor of mine. Considering it’s a Girl Scouts brand, I should have known I’d love them! These peanuts are amazing! They are hard though, so probably a no go for those with sensitive teeth. I like the crunch and the sweetness is just the right amount. These are also pretty dangerous; its best to grab a handful, close up the jar and walk away snacking. It was no surprise that I could not find these for sale online; most Girl Scout products come directly from a Girl Scout. You can, however, find a Girl Scout in your area to see if they have these yummy peanuts!
Beech-Nut Quinoa Crispies in Vanilla, 2.82 oz – Buy three 5 ct boxes for $33.99
60 Calories | 1g Fat | 12g Carbs | >1g Protein (per 1 bar) – Expired July 31, 2019
I like quinoa; when I was hardcore dieting, quinoa was my go-to grain so I was pretty curious to try these out. The bars are similar to rice crispy bars, and even look like them but they are a little smaller. When I was looking up the product, though, I was surprised to find that this was more of a snack for babies and toddlers. In fact, Wal-Mart only had this in the baby section! I am disappointed that I didn’t realize Beech-Nut is a known baby food brand but I did make my own baby food this last go around so I am not totally surprised I didn’t know. I gave one to my 11-month-old who totally loved it. I do like the fact that this month something was included specifically for her. It would be a cool option for Snack With Me to have some sort of survey that would let them know baby foods and snacks should be included.
Nesquik Chocolate Powder Mix, 2.96 oz – Buy a 14.1 oz canister for $2.53
50 Calories | .5 g Fat | 12g Carbs | <1g Protein (per 1 pouch) – Expired July 2019
I am sad to say that I have deprived my children of powdered chocolate milk. I am a lover of chocolate syrup because I can use it in other places; like in my ice cream. So when we saw this, they immediately grabbed glasses of milk. When we opened the pouch a lot of chocolatey powder filled the top of our glass. After lots of stirring, they tried it out. Both kids loved it! Plus, these pouches are easier to take around vs a whole bottle of chocolate syrup. I probably will end up buying these in the future.
Vans Country Ranch Crackers, 5 oz – Retail Value $2.79
100 Calories | 0 g Fat | 25g Carbs | 0g Protein (per 15 pieces) – Expires August 26, 2019
I had mixed feelings with these crackers. First, I am not too big a fan of “ranch” anything. I am in the minority when I say I hate ranch dressing, but I gave these a go. These were crispy and flavorful. They had an okay aftertaste and were in perfect bite-sizes. My husband ended up loving these and the kids didn’t really care for them.
Dill Pickle Cashews, 3 packs 1.25 oz – Bu y a box of seven 0.62 oz bags for $4.99
200 Calories | 16g Fat | 11g Carbs | 6g Protein (per pouch) – Expired June 13, 2019
Lately, I have received some pretty interesting pickle-flavored items from Snack With Me and I don’t like any of them. The kids kinda do, but the moment they tried these, they spit them out. These are really dusted with flavoring, so it is undeniable that the flavor packs a punch. We did not finish the first pack and will not open the others.
Slim Jim Premium Smoked Sticks, 2 packs 1.23 oz each – Buy a 4.1 oz pack for $4.79
140 Calories | 9g Fat | 5g Carbs | 10g Protein (per pouch) – Expired August 4, 2019
I like Slim Jims; I think they are decent snacks and don’t cost a lot in calories and carbs (and subsequently sugars!). I have never seen packs like this before; each one has 3 links. They are traditional Slim Jims and were a good snack. These did not last long.
Duke’s Chorizo & Lime Shorty Sausages, 1.25 oz – Buy a 5 oz bag for $9.87
170 Calories | 14g Fat | 2g Carbs | 10g Protein (per pouch) – Expired July 5, 2019
I got these back in April through Snack With Me and didn’t really like them. For that reason, we did not open these up to taste them. Instead, I have put in my take-to-the-office pile.
Belvita Protein Biscuits, 7.04 oz – Retail Value $2.98
200 Calories | 8g Fat | 22g Carbs | 10g Protein (per 1 biscuit) – Expired July 31, 2019
Jayden loves things like this and was really excited to try these out! This box has 4 good sized biscuits, each individually wrapped. As soon as I opened it up, I could smell the blueberries. He gobbled this up so quick that I am surprised there are any left in the pantry! These are a hit with our family (our son) and we will definitely be getting more!
McGinnis Shortbread Biscuits –Buy a tin of 40 cookies for $12.50
291Calories | 15g Fat | 36g Carbs | 3.5g Protein (per package) - Unknown expiration date
My family likes to see different kinds of things in this box that we aren’t used to seeing. This package excited them – cookies always excite us! These shortbread cookies were nothing fancy and tasted as expected. They were a delicious little treat that we all enjoyed.
PopCorners Cinema Style Chips, 5 oz – Retail Value $3.02
120 Calories | 3g Fat | 20g Carbs | 2g Protein (per 1 oz) – Expires November 19, 2019
I don’t know where to start with this chip! First of all, I have never seen nor craved a popcorn flavored chip. These chips are puffy and in the closer image you can see the dusting of the cheddar. They actually were not that bad. They were crispy like a chip and buttery like popcorn and really did taste like what I would expect if popcorn and chips came together. While they were okay, they are not something I would grab again. I do prefer popcorn over chips while at the cinema anyway.
Dean Street Taco Chips, 5 oz
140Calories | 6g Fat | 18g Carbs | 3g Protein (per 1 oz) – Expired July 15, 2019
In June, we got a Chili & Lime flavor that we really liked, so we were pretty stoked to try another flavor – especially since there is not a lot of information on where to buy them. These chips are crispy and pack so much flavor. Even though we opened them up to taste, we are saving them for our epic nachos: beef fajita, beans, nacho cheese, lettuce, tomatoes – the works. They will pair perfectly! As mentioned briefly and in the June review, the website for Dean Taco doesn’t have information on where to buy them. I did locate a Facebook page, but there hasn’t been activity since October last year.
Verdict: Snack With Me is a great box for those who love to snack and love to try new snacks. Every month is a genuine surprise and varies from subscriber to subscriber. I do feel as if each month I have been getting less, though, but I’ve noticed that that changes from month to month too. This month, I was able to try out another Dean Street Taco chip which was pretty cool. Other than those and the candy bites, though, there wasn’t any other snack that I totally loved or liked to discover.
