Supernatural Box Summer 2019 Review
Every quarter, my box comes with a card that lists the items and even shows little pictures. This helps to let me check through my box to make sure I have everything. I do this quickly, though, by counting then opening each item trying to avoid the pictures. I love being surprised!
Before I get into the items, I wanted to provide a little backstory on Baby, Dean’s beloved 1967 Chevrolet Impala. Dean got this car from his dad, who bought it in 1973 after future Dean convinces him to buy it over a VW van (episode 3, season 4). The trunk holds the guy’s stuff: a mass of weapons to aid the brothers through their hunting activities. Naturally, this is Dean’s baby and he has named her Baby. This quarter, a lot of the items are a tribute to Baby who even had her own episode (episode 4, season 11).
LED Tote Bag
This tote is the coolest bag I have ever received. Baby’s headlights even really light up! There is a battery pack in the bag that is easily switched on and off to make her lights shine. The bag is black and says “To Hell and Back.” Considering how many times many of the characters have actually been to hell and back, I’d say this is pretty fitting. The bag is also really roomy! I put my 8x10 picture of Sam and Dean inside and it still has a lot of room. This bag is great for almost anything, but I think I will be using it to tote around some files and snacks for my day.
Graphic T-Shirt
I love the shirts I get in my Supernatural sub. They are original and pretty fun. This month, I got a short-sleeved all black shirt with a Supernatural design on the front in white. The design is something I would expect from this sub: a logo with angel wings, the anti-possession symbol, and the devil’s trap symbol. The shirt also has the quote “The Family Business, "Saving People," and "Hunting Things” on it. The shirt is a size XL and is a bit big since I am (slowly) losing weight after baby #3, but it is perfect for sitting on the couch bingeing the final (sniffle) season.

Tumbler
This is a pretty rad tumbler. It's black and red and has ready-to-fight Sam and Dean in front of Baby. It is a great cup with a plastic straw and is BPA free. The cup is not microwaveable and should be hand washed only.
Dean Plush
Oh my goodness!! I love this little Dean! These plushes are so much cooler than the vinyl figures we used to receive. Even though there really aren’t facial expressions, it is easy to tell who is who. Dean is wearing jeans, brown shoes and a button-up plaid shirt over a plain colored shirt. He has light brown hair and is super adorbs. He looks great with the Cas doll I got last quarter.
Acrylic Keychain
I like keychains; I feel like they bring character to boring keys. This keychain also speaks the truth and the number 1 car rule: Driver picks the music (though these days I am stuck listening to Elmo and the baby is not driving). The keychain features Baby and looks like an old diner sign. It's cute, it's small and is perfect for the car keys.
Baby Charm
I look forward to a new charm every quarter! This month, it is Baby! The charm is right of her front view, showing her bumper and lights, hood, and front windshield allowing us to see a little into the car. The charm fits perfectly with the other two I have received since subscribing. Together, I have a great Supernatural charm bracelet coming along.
Art Print
Culture Fly includes some sort of art print in every box. This quarter is of a smoldering Dean and Sam in what appears to be a tunnel (I think it may be their bunker). Ah, it takes my breath away. The only thing it is missing is their autograph. While I like these photos, I haven’t really hung them up or displayed them. I just keep them in an easily accessible corner that I visit every now and then to admire them.
Picture Frame
The last item in this quarter’s box is this picture frame. I actually really like this frame! I love the tread marks down the sides of the frame and of course Baby on the bottom. This frame is perfect as-is if I wanted to keep Sam and Dean framed or I can switch it out when my oldest starts driving. Since that is a few years away, I will keep Sam and Dean framed. They really are pretty cute to look at...
Verdict: The Supernatural Box by Culture Fly is really fun for fans! Every box has similar items, such as art prints or charms, but I always look forward to them and the different designs I may receive. I liked how this box featured a lot of Baby, and even though they don’t name a theme, the boxes center on something specific. I really liked the tote bag and charm in this box with the charm being my top favorite item. For $56.99 ($49.99 + $7 shipping), I received authentic, original Supernatural items. Considering the quality of the 8 items, I consider it a pretty fair deal.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. If you sign up now, you should get the Fall 2019 box.
Value Breakdown: This box costs $49.99 + $7.00 shipping which means that each of the 8 items in the box has an average cost of $7.12.
