The GlobeIn Premium Box is a monthly artisan subscription that sends you original home items created by global artisans. Each box contains handcrafted items from around the world and the stories of the artists who made the pieces.
This is a review of the Premium box, which is $40.00 per month.
GlobeIn offers one new theme every month. They also have 3-5 best-selling theme boxes that they restock each month. Users have from the 1st to the 10th of the month to make their theme choice. If you don't choose by that date, GlobeIn will send you a random box based on what's in stock. They do guarantee that you won't receive a duplicate theme!
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

GlobeIn September 2019 "Amore" Box Review
Each box from GlobeIn contains a booklet that talks more about the theme for the box and the items inside. This little booklet is almost as valuable to me as the items inside the box, because it gives background on each piece and often includes names and photos of the artisans behind them. I absolutely love knowing more about the products and the hands that crafted each item.
Just a heads up, since there aren't prices listed in the booklet for the items, I'm going off the prices given in this GlobeIn spoilers post for items I couldn't find online. Also worth noting is that there were two box variants this month!
Personal Pizza Board, Thailand - Listed Value $40.00
Measurements: 8" board, 12" with handle
Though this is listed as a pizza board, it screams cheeseboard to me! I am a cheese addict, and I always like to offer a few different cheese assortments when I have guests over. This board is the perfect size for a smaller gathering. The wood is really beautiful and rich, and the finish on this board is so smooth! I like the little twine strung handle because it makes it perfect for hanging when not in use, and this piece is pretty enough to be displayed.
Marinara Sauce Spoon, Morocco - Listed Value $25.00
Measurements: 10.5''
At first, I thought this was a spoon rest, but it is actually meant for stirring sauces. I could also see using this tool for serving. I think the red, white, and black design is very pretty, and I love how you can tell it was hand painted.
Spice Grinder Camp Garden Herbs, South Africa, 1.4oz - Listed Value $12.00
We use tons of spices in our house, and I am partial to the grinder styles. It just makes the herbs feel more potent when they are freshly crushed. This is a lovely and aromatic blend of sea salt, white and green pepper, rosemary, basil, oregano, and sage. It would be extra delicious on poultry, pizza, or even popcorn!
Palm Leaf Tortillero Flatbread Basket, Mexico - Listed Value $16.00
Measurements: 2.5" depth x 8" width
If you read any of my reviews, you know I love baskets! All shapes and sizes, please! This is a lidded style meant to hold warm tortillas or bread. I like the combo of red and natural straw. It would also be perfect for stashing jewelry, smaller makeup products, or skincare items sitting on your vanity or bathroom counter. I am also considering adding this piece to my ever-growing basket wall display in my hallway, since I don't really have any red there.
Bicycle Pizza Cutter, India - Listed Value $20.00
This is by far the cutest item in this month's box. A double-ended pizza cutter that is shaped like a bicycle! I wondered how functional this double-wheeled item would be, but I found that I can simply hold it at an angle and use one wheel at a time to cut. This is actually a really smart find, since my husband Will and I like wildly different pizza toppings. I can't stand the taste of pepperoni (just a little of that stuff gives me mad heartburn), so now instead of wiping our single wheel pizza cutter off each time we use it, I can just use a different wheel of this bicycle to make my cuts.
The Verdict: GlobeIn always has really unique items. I really enjoyed this month's finds. It's hard to pick a favorite, but I think that pizza cutter might be it. The board was a close second—I loved the beautiful wood and round style. The spoon, spices, and basket will all go to good use in my home too.
