Why is everyone hating on betty?! Betty Boop is such a huge iconic animated makeup/fashion icon! And how do y’all not see this being relative to halloween?! Betty Boops high contrast black and white look is perfect for the season! Cute bag. Im personally thrilled with the last few bags and hope Ipsy keeps it up 👏🏼

It would be nice to have a bag selection too. Maybe each month having three or four choices to chose from, especially months like these when some people want Halloween themed bags and others don’t. I, personally, would love a Halloween bag with witches, ghosts, pumpkins, etc., but I realize there are other people who wouldn’t want that. This way it would be a win win for everybody!

If i was you, i would email IpsyCare and ask them about it, i would just tell them that you want to start recieving Ipsy again but you dont want to start until October and dont want September’s bag. Ipsycare can probably set it up for you or at least tell you how to sign back up without being billed for September and recieving this months bag. I hope this helps Nicole! BTW, my sister’s name is Nicole and she spells it just like you do!😊

I was planning on skipping next month, but when I saw this bag I immediately was overwhelmed, my mom passed away in 2013 and she was addicted to Betty Boop and owned a plethora of her stuff, so I’m not skipping even if it’s just for the bag… 💕

Betty Boop was created in 1930. God are you limited in scope of understanding…..if you are 50 years old today, that means Betty Boop was already 40 years old the very day you were born. Betty is ICONIC and timeless unlike the crap that is created today. Time waits for no one honey, including YOU…..but don’t worry, you’ll be 50 before you know it, just like everyone else! God bless!

Just checked and it’s still up and working. I was having trouble with the app a few days ago and I had to uninstall/reinstall it and that fixed all the problems. You might want to try that.

I think it was their system. I didn’t do anything on my end, but it’s up and working now. I just wondered because they never said anything on Facebook and the only thing about their site that wasn’t working for me was the Ipsy shopper section.

Ok… A few years back, Ipsy DID DO A HALLOWEEN BAG!!! It did not go over too well with everybody. I am “One of those people” that did not like it simply because of my core beliefs. So, I simply did not keep it. It is THAT simple. There have been other bags that I’ve given away just because it wasn’t pretty or useful to me. I don’t understand why it seems everybody thinks Ipsy needs to celebrate Halloween but not any other “holiday “???
Ipsy has to come up with a Glambag and theme for each of the 12 months year after year and we still are never happy??? I wish I could remember who said it best about the Halloween bag with the Ouija board on it…. If the bag offends you, THROW IT AWAY!!!!

I might be the odd one out, but I am hoping for matching bags in different sizes for the tiers of bags. Love Boop and to have a Mini and Medium sized one would be fab. I haven’t signed up for Ultimate but I am curious to see the spoilers start rolling in!

Now see, I’m praying all three bags are same design different sizes. I have tons of mixed matched bags and would love to have a few matching sets. I signed up for the Ultimate just to snag a few months of all three bags then I’ll be quitting the regular and plus probably and just keeping Ultimate every two months.

Totally panicked by the bag. I think it’s cute, love it. However Betty Boop’s makeup is black eyeliner and red lipstick. Typically the makeup goes with the bag theme.
If Ipsy gives me another black eyeliner and red lipstick combo then I am done with all three tiers.
How do you opt out of a category? Do you email them and say no eyeliner or is there a place on the app? I have my profile set correctly they just don’t care.
Because that bag screams Eyeko liquid eyeliner.

Thanks! I emailed them. I’m not sure that it will always work but I tried. So on overload of red and orange lipsticks and black eyeliner. I swear Cruella DeVille is curating some of my bags.

I wish i would just get at least one red lipstick, they always send me the lightest colors that dont look good on me. I have told them that i like darker colors like red or even brown, i have been with Ipsy for a year and a half and have never recieved a lipstick color that i like, it is always pink or some crazy color like purple.

I LOVE this bag!! I will be thrilled if I get 3 bags with this theme!! For the value of what we are getting Ipsy is knocking it out of the park!! It is a shame that so many people are unhappy 😞. As for the rainbows 🌈 I love rainbows and what they stand for; both meanings! 😁

Same here! Even though I was raised Baptist, I was also raised to do the best you can to not judge others. I’m not perfect! Neither is my life… The only thing disappointing to me about the rainbow theme in June was that each bag was a different color when I was hoping for a rainbow bag. 😂

Try contacting IpsyCare through social media, i contact them through Twitter sometimes and it may take a couple of days but they always get back to me!

I love it! I agree that it’s not a Fall themed bag, but I still love it! Maybe they will do a more Fall theme for November?
I can completely understand why they didn’t do a Halloween themed bag though. The last time they did, they caught A LOT of flack over it. They got lash back on what was on the bag and then continued to get some over the fact that they did a Halloween bag but not a Christmas, Easter, 4th Of July, etc. themed bags. Some people didn’t like it when they had a rainbow theme in June. Some are not happy about the astrological theme… They can’t please everybody. I think they are trying to stay “holiday neutral” ??? There have been bags I didn’t like. I just give them away.

Everybody is wired differently and that’s ok. Everybody is entitled to their religious beliefs as well. I was not happy about the one Halloween bag mainly because of the Ouija board. I did not pitch a fit with Ipsy. I simply just did not keep the bag. To each their own. Everybody complains about something…
