Now, on to the items!
Known Supply Weekender Duffel in Lake Blue – Retail Value $108
(Subscribers will receive this color or Forest Green, or Stone Gray. If you are an annual subscriber, you get to pick the color. Slide through to see all options.)
I think this item alone is worth the cost of the box. It's such a classic piece, and I love each of the color options. The fabric is 100% cotton canvas, it has an adjustable shoulder strap in addition to handles, and brass hardware accents. There's one zipper pocket on the exterior, and another one inside the bag as well. It feels very durable, and I think I'll be using this for year.
Underwood Letterpress Felt Letter Board – Retail Value $30
(Subscribers will receive this or Glass Ladder & Co. Terrazzo Travel Wallet (Retail Value $45) If you are an annual subscriber, you get to pick the item. Slide through the photos to see all options.)
I just realized that felt letter boards are great for holiday decorating so this felt board will be busy over the next 2 months! It measures 10" by 10" and comes with a cotton drawstring pouch for any loose letters you aren't using. It also has a picture frame hanging hardware on the back if you want to display it on a wall.
Alternate Item: Glass Ladder & Co. Terrazzo Travel Wallet - Retail Value $45
The terrazzo print on the vegan leather feels very on-trend right now, and the peachy-pink color is working for me, too. Inside there are two card slots, 4 other large pockets to fit your passport, cash, receipts, and even your phone! (I was surprised to read in the CAUSEBOX magazine that the central side pocket could fit almost any smartphone, but then I tested it with my iPhone and it totally worked. I could snap it closed and everything.
Nashelle Heather Drop Lariat Necklace in Gold or Silver Plated – $38
(Subscribers will receive this in Gold plated or Silver plated. If you are an annual subscriber, you get to pick the color. Slide through to see both options.)
This necklace has a 25-inch chain, and you can adjust where you want the ting to go, making it longer or shorter. (Just make sure to wrap the chain through the ring so that it stays in place. I'm modeling it over a turtleneck here, and I think it would be great peeking through from a button-down shirt, too.
la beauté Soi 10-Piece Makeup Brush Collection – Retail Value $24
I'm very impressed with the quality of this brush collection. The brushes are vegan, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic, with hand-trimmed bristles.
The faux leather carrying case is useful, and I really like the all-white look of the bag, handles, and bristles with the rose gold metal accent. My favorite brush so far has been the foundation brush (close up in the last photo). It's super densely packed and the closest thing I've found to a beauty blender in brush form!
(MALIN+GOETZ) Recovery Treatment Oil – Retail Value $82
This face oil is worth well over the entire cost of the box! This is a great (and pricey) ingredient-conscious skincare line, so I was thrilled to see this in the box. The formula is designed to help hydrate skin and decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It's lightweight, absorbed quickly, and left my skin feeling noticeably softer. It's also scented naturally with essential oils like spearmint, grapefruit, and orange!
La Lueur Candles White Cactus Coconut Wax Candle – $35
I was very happy to see that this candle is free from phthalates, sulfates, and parabens. I'm always on the hunt for a scented candle that is phthalate-free, and they are hard to find! This formula is made from a coconut wax blend. The vessel is a reusable glass with a white matte finish on the exterior, and it's made in the USA! (8 ounces, 40 hour burn time.)
The scent has notes of cactus flower, coconut, and musk - and I was impressed with the scent throw. (Usually, phthalate-free candles don't carry a lot of scent.)
Art Print – $10
And in every box, CAUSEBOX works with an artist to design the box and artwork. These little postcard-sized prints are great for framing!
Verdict: This CAUSEBOX has a value of over $300! As usual, I am so impressed with CAUSEBOX. I love their mission of working with brands + companies that give back, support fair trade, etc., and the box curation is equally amazing. The value is great for a $54.95 box, and incredible with the 30% off coupon. Usually it's difficult for a box to curate a colletion that feels both practical and special, but I think CAUSEBOX nailed it with the Fall box.
