September 2019 Crystal Wellness Club Review
The first thing I pulled out was a beautifully designed and informative card. It details the stone choice this month, what its properties are, and an intention guide.
The crystal arrives in a reusable drawstring bag. I have never seen such a well-made and protective drawstring pouch come in a box. It has a soft exterior and is lined with a thicker, plush, faux-fur liner.

The crystal this month is a blue Lapiz Lazuli palm stone and it is just exquisite. The blue is so rich and the entire surface is flecked with metallic pyrite that catches the light beautifully. Lapis is a stone closely tied to clarity, peace, and self-assurance.
This subscription promises larger crystal sizes of at least 3 inches. This one was 3 inches exactly and was perfect for holding in my palm.

Enlightened Wellness Candle with Lapis Lazuli, 8 oz - Retail Value $24.95
I am not someone who really spends a ton of money on candles, and $25-30 is on the higher end for me. That being said, I see where the price point comes from with this candle. The box itself is so pretty and wonderfully illustrated with botanicals and helpful info. The glass holder is also heavy, and has very thick walls. It feels high quality and expensive to hold. The beautiful lapis chips are plentiful, and already slightly embedded in the wax so none go missing. This is also a very high fragranced candle, and this particular scent is a blend of ylang-ylang, bergamot, lavender, and peppermint. The ylang-ylang is by far the strongest element and the other oils give it a solid base and sophistication. I would wear this scent as a perfume easily!
This candle was such a joy to burn. I knew the chips were lovely, but when the wax is hot and transparent, they truly shine. All of those little metallic bits of pyrite grab the light of the flame and twinkle as the fire dances. It is truly beautiful to see.

Verdict: I was really impressed with this subscription and I am so glad you all wanted to see it reviewed! The candle was absolutely stellar and I was very pleased with how special and luxurious it felt. The crystal was also stunning, and wonderfully large compared to most you see in the subscription box world. I appreciate that they emphasize ethical sourcing when it comes to the specimens included. The whole box was packed beautifully from the outer box to the protective interior cardboard, to the crystal pouch, and beyond. This is a candle I could see myself paying full retail for very easily, so paying a few dollars more for it to also include an amazing crystal is a no brainer!
