Savage X Fenty Xtra VIP Set September 2019 Review
In previous reviews, I've tried Savage X Fenty's Xtra VIP boxes—exclusive assortments of lingerie and accessories for a great price. But they also offer deals on exclusive sets of Savage X Fenty products (or you can pick individual products from the site to buy). So this month, I decided to go for a three-item set so that I could stock up on some essential pieces in cuts I've been curious to try. Here's what's included:

Microfiber Bralette Trio - Retail Value $58.50, Member Price $34.90 (including $4.95 shipping)
This "trio" of items includes two bras and one pair of high waisted panties. This first look is their Microfiber Bralette, which is a super sleek pull-on bra made from nylon and elastane fabric. It's really soft and lightweight—I found it really comfortable. The one thing I'll say is that I'm rather small-chested, and I still thought this bra scooped awfully low. It wasn't a huge deal for me, but just an FYI that there's not a ton of coverage here.

Next up is the Unlined High Neck Microfiber Bralette. I love how cool and modern this pull-on bra looks—it's a bit late in the year to be thinking about summer style, but I could see wearing this as a top with high-waisted jeans and a cardigan on a festival day. The band comes down a little further than I expected on me, so it did have a bit of a crop top feel. It's just as comfortable, smooth, and lightweight as the previous bralette, even given the added coverage. The fabric doesn't breathe a ton, but the fact that the back is open (it has adjustable straps like a regular bra) helps curb that.

At this point I should probably mention that I got to pick the color I wanted in each piece of this set. Black was the obvious choice for me, since I love black basics, though they offer versions in everything from bright poppy orange to leopard print.
Okay, last but not least are these High-Waist Microfiber Briefs. I've amassed a few pairs of high-waisted undies, but this pair fits the best by far. I love how their seamless edges lay against my hips—no awkward lines here! They're just so easy to wear, plus their shape is a flattering match for my curvier bottom half. If I have any wishes for these undies, it's that I wish they were more breathable. The fabric gets a little stuffy on a hot day.
The Verdict: I've really loved what I've received from Savage X Fenty. As good as I think they are at super sexy lingerie and accessories (like I've gotten in their Xtra VIP Boxes), I also think they're great for everyday essentials. Being a VIP means I can get great deals on these kinds of products all month, too. (If I want to stock up on more of these high-waisted undies, which I totally do, I'll get a better price on them than if I wasn't a VIP.)
