Monthly XIO Bag October 2019 Review
The theme of this month’s box is “October Moon Magic,” featuring five mystic pieces that totally live up to this month's theme.
On the back of the info card, XIO lists each item featured as well as what each accessory is made of and its retail value. Each piece is made up of 925 sterling silver, and the gold pieces are plated 925 sterling silver.

Celestial Bangle - Listed Value $38
Here is a XIO bangle that I can definitely get behind. I've complained before about receiving just one bangle from this subscription, but this one has just enough detail to sway me. There is a romance to the CZ encrusted star and moon almost meeting in the middle; I just love it! This thin metal is pliable enough to fit nearly any sized wrist, and it doesn't feel as fragile as some bangles tend to.

Crystaline Lariat - Listed Value $55
Typically I am not a long necklace or lariat kind of girl, but this accessory just screams "layer me with everything!" It is simple, but the subtly chic CZ details make this an accessory you can really pair with any other necklace. That being said, I probably wouldn't wear this classic Y shape alone, because it plays more of a supporting role, rather than taking the spotlight for itself. This necklace reaches halfway down my chest at its longest, but XIO includes a 3-4 inch extender on each of their necklaces so you can achieve the look you are going for.

Moondust Ring - Listed Value $45
I am over the moon for this ring! Cheesy, but true! Right now it is like a forbidden apple since I am so swollen I can't wear any of my rings, even this gorgeous adjustable ring could never recover from the damage that would do, haha. Out of all the recurring crescent moons in this box, the one on this ring is the blingiest, hence, it is my very favorite. It will also match perfectly with XIO's Large Crescent Moon Necklace that was featured in November 2018's XIO bag!

Stellar Studs - Listed Value $30
I really like how the curator decided to venture off and choose a set of coordinating earrings. I am all about mismatching studs, especially when they are this beautiful. I can't help but think of Game of Thrones' Daenerys and Khal Drogo's pet names for each other 'Moon of my Life' and 'My Sun my Stars,' which makes me like them even more. They both gleam with textured metal and cubic zirconias, and this month XIO decided to pair each with a rubber earring back. I rave about these things; they are much more user-friendly and comfortable than the traditional butterfly backings, so I am loving this improvement!

Luna Necklace - Listed Value $55
I am very into this starry moon charm. It is a gorgeous centerpiece for any other necklace you choose to layer around it; all eyes will be fixed on this beauty! This style is a little different from all the other necklaces I've received from XIO, and I love the moonchild vibes it is giving me. I think this will definitely be a new staple piece for me, and it will be easy to incorporate with all my other delicate jewelry.

The Verdict: Monthly XIO Bag's witchy Moon Magic theme fed my need for celestial jewelry this October; what a perfect month to bust out these enchanting charms! This month I received 5 accessories, which brings each piece down to $14—a great value! I love XIO’s jewelry, and the last two months have been two of the best curations yet!
