October 2019 Crystal Wellness Club Review
The first thing I pulled out was a beautifully designed and informative card. It details the stone choice this month, what its properties are, and an intention guide.
The crystal arrives in a reusable drawstring bag. I have never seen such a well-made and protective drawstring pouch come in a box. It has a soft exterior and is lined with a thicker, plush, faux-fur liner.

The crystal this month is a big chunk of amethyst! One end has a polished point and the other is rough and wonderful. You can actually stand it up on each end! I like that it is half polished, half raw because you can see both beautiful finishes in the same specimen. This subscription promises larger crystal sizes of at least 3 inches. This one was massive, almost 5 inches long!

Relaxed Wellness Candle with Amethyst, 8 oz - Retail Value $24.95
As I mentioned in my first review of this sub, I am not someone who really spends a ton of money on candles, and $25-30 is on the higher end for me. That review was a little bit of a game-changer for me, as I signed up for this subscription independently because I loved the candle so much. So now I get two a month! I really, really like these.
The scent this month is a wonderfully peaceful blend of lavender and lemongrass. I am not normally a lemongrass fan, but it actually provides a lovely accent to the lavender, which takes center stage. It feels especially cozy for these chilly evenings where all you want to do is live inside a pile of blankets. Just like my first candle, this one feels very high quality and expensive. The packaging is beautifully done and the glass holder is thick and heavy. I did find this scent to be less powerful than last month's candle, but it was still incredibly noticeable in my large living room.
The little amethyst chips glow near the flame and you can see all the different shades and layers of purple reflecting the fire.

Verdict: Month 2, and I am still very much into this sub. I love it enough to pay for a second subscription, which says a lot. It combines two of my favorite things, crystals and candles, and I believe one can never have too many of either! The large amethyst chunk was a beautiful complement to the lavender candle. I am excited to see what comes next month!
