FaceTory 7 Lux November 2019 Review
Now on to the masks!
Round Lab Apple Peeling Mask - Retail Value $3.00 (currently sold out)
This juicy mask has SO much serum! It was literally dripping down my neck. This means you have a ton left over for patting into your skin, though it was certainly on the messy side. It has apple extract and loads of niacinamide for smoothing skin texture. Not much of a scent here, kind of a generic mask scent, clean but simple.
Aroh Centella Herb Cooling Mask Pack - Retail Value $3.00 (currently sold out)
This mask was zippy, and felt super cooling. The scent was a mixture of tea-tree, maybe mint? I am not sure. It did zap away loads of my redness which is always appreciated. The mask fit well and the clear serum was plentiful! I will say that it does not feel great if it drips into your eye though!
Elishacoy Hydra Mushroom Mask Sheet - Retail Value $3.00 (currently sold out)
As expected, this mushroom mask had an interesting earthy scent that reminded me of garden dirt and roots in the best way. This one was so incredibly moisturizing, and a blessing for my extra dry skin. The sheet fit well too!
Huangjisoo Tea Tree Soothing Mask - Retail Value $6.00 (currently sold out)
As expected, this tea tree mask smelled very much like tea tree oil, though it also had a creamy and earthy note too. I liked it very much! Since I have dry skin, I did choose to leave this one on for less than the recommended 15 minutes because tea tree tends to dry me out unless I am moderate. If you have oily skin though, leave this one on for the full 15 minutes!
Neogen Super Hydra Aqua Capsule Mask - Retail Value $5.00 (currently sold out)
This mask had a pretty cool delivery system. In the upper part of the pouch, there is a blue and yellow capsule that you break, allowing the serum to flow down onto the sheet mask. Cool! This one has both hyaluronic acid and mushroom extract, so I left it on for almost 30 minutes for the hydration benefits. It felt super cooling and had tons of clear serum with no real scent to speak of.
Lassie’el Be Shine Jewelry Mask - Retail Value $3.00 (currently sold out)
I expected this to be a holographic sheet mask but I was relieved it wasn't since those rarely fit well! Instead, this mask was a white material on a removable mesh backing. It had a soft and lovely ocean scent and fit my face well. It left my skin really soft and calm.
ID Plascosmetic ID AZ Dermastic Gold-fit Mask - Retail Value $5.00 (currently sold out)
I was pumped that this was a metallic gold gel mask! It was also in two parts, so you can pretend you have a gold beard and scare your husband when you randomly walk into the room wearing just the lower part. This mask was SO cold! It had a sweet, fresh scent with a honey note. Although I didn't notice a major difference in my skin after I removed it, the whole experience while it was on was relaxing and fun.
This month arrived with two bonus products too!
Skin & Lab Barrierderm Mileage Kit – Sample
This little sampler has one-time uses of Skin & Lab cream, balm, and ampoule!
ID Plascosmetics Face Fit Lip Fit-ler - Listed Value $20.50
I have used lip plumping treatments before and, generally, they do burn. I have never experienced anything like this one. It was almost too painful to really use! It did make my lips look fuller, but this was a miss for me.
Verdict: FaceTory was super fun this month, as usual! I loved each of the masks and would totally do any of them again. I thought the selection had a lot of variety ingredient-wise, and I loved the cool capsule mask as well as the fun gold gel. One of the bonuses was a total miss for me, but I might just be a baby when it comes to extreme lip plumpers? If you also tried it, let me know what you think in the comments!
