- The Premium Box: 4-6 premium accessories to upgrade your wardrobe for $100/quarter. You must apply and be accepted for this option.

Gentleman's Box November 2019 “People's Champion" Review

Included in our box was an issue of the Gentleman's Post which is basically a booklet that describes the theme for the month and highlights the items included in our box. This month's box is in honor of their favorite People's Champion, Dwayne Johnson, who is a pretty cool guy to be honoring!

Windsor Tie Co. Tie - Listed Value $35.00
This is a nice, luxe tie! It has a good weight to it and just enough of a sheen to put it in the category of a formal dress tie. My husband really likes this one and the deep burgundy color feels like a seasonally appropriate choice. I love the subtle design of the crosshatching with different colors which creates more depth and makes it visually appealing.
Here it is on. Normally, he would probably style this with a dressier shirt, but he went more casual for the photo.

Sock Panda Socks - Listed Value $13.00
These socks are really interesting and fun and my husband liked them a lot. While the contrasting patterns make them really fun, since those vivid stripes are on the bottom these are still acceptable to use as work socks because the top is much more subdued. These come from Sock Panda, a subscription sock company that gives back which you can check out here.

Mr. White Pocket Square - Listed Value $20.00
While my husband doesn't have a need for pocket squares as often as he receives them, he really loves this one and says it's his favorite item in the box this month! I agree that the colors and pattern are so unique and pretty great. While it has somewhat of a more casual feel (maybe because it reminds me of Tetris), the way they have it folded in the booklet actually makes it seem much more dressy, so this little square may be more versatile than it looks!

Wurkin Stiffs Cufflinks - Listed Value $25.00
These brass cufflinks are nice and hefty in weight, making them feel pretty substantial. I like that they have just a tiny bit of color in them to tie these into the rest of the items from our box, but not so much that you couldn't get away with wearing these with other colors, too.

Gent Life Catch-All Tray - Listed Value $20.00
What a useful item! I was excited to see this in the box because I know my husband needs something like this to store all of the great accessories he receives. I have a larger one (thank you PopSugar Must-Have) and I love mine, so I know he will enjoy his just as much! I love that it unsnaps to lay flat, making it such a great travel accessory as well.
Verdict: This month's Gentleman’s Box had some great items in it! Honestly, I think the only item that might not get that much use are the cufflinks, but that's just because my husband doesn't have a need for them often. He loves the pocket square and is already making use of his catch-all tray. I know the socks and tie will get plenty of use as well. This box is a great deal for $29 with free shipping, especially since our total listed value comes to $113.00!
