Ipsy November 2019 Add-Ons Available Now!

I did not love anything in my bags, but added on: Verso hydration cream, Billion Dollar Brows bestsellers, Filorgia eye correction cream, Veriphy power trip AHA serum, Youth to the People air-whip cream, Confidence in a cleanser, La Chloris rose mask, Confidence in a cream, First Aid oat & cannabis oil, and Playlist pineapple body lotion.

A couple of those I love, and are way cheaper than normal, so am thinking about scaling back Ipsy to just 1 bag, in order to purchase add-ons, since my bags have been such disappointments the past few months. :/

Also, does anyone know why it is that the add-ons are different for different people? It’ll show available add-ons above, and have a nailpolish or cream that doesn’t show up on mine – not even when they first open, and not even as sold out; just not on the page, period.

If I sign up for Ipsy now, can I immediately choose add ons?

I was not impressed this month with the products in the bags. So I paused the ultimate and plus and just kept the regular bag. I have not really been impressed with ipsy for a few months now. I’m giving it till December. I’m hoping the products will be good because of Christmas. But If I’m not happy with the spoilers I will say goodbye and cancel. I have BOXYCHARM anyways and an usually happy with them.
As for add ons I’m kicking myself for not adding the IT cleanser. I thought I had saw it as a spoiler for boxy so didn’t buy it. I knew I should’ve checked first but oh well. I’m on cleanser overload right now anyways. I don’t usually wash my face with soap but use makeup remover then micellar water as a toner to get what the makeup wipes didn’t

I had different add on choices. I got a full size (5 ounces) IT Cleanser for $12, a mini IT Cream, the mini MAC makeup remover, the Valenti gloss, and the Neon lip balm. It’s gotten to where the only reason I still have Ipsy is for add-ons. I’m basically paying them $12 a month for the privilege of paying them more for what I wish I had gotten in my bag. After looking at all of the products available this month, I feel like they truly went out of their way to send me the only 5 things I didn’t want. It’s so weird to me. I usually roll my eyes when people complain but I’m starting to understand the extreme frustration people are feeling. I’m super new to subscription boxes and have only had this one for three months but every month with Ipsy is a disappointment which I just don’t understand. After looking at everything that was available this month that I could have gotten, I just want to know how do they manage to find the only 5 things I don’t want every month!?!? I made the mistake of ordering two mystery bags as well because I was so excited at the idea and both of them also contained the only 5 products from each of their respective months that I did not want. I’m going to go through December only because I hope it will be an amazing month (since it’s a holiday month) but after that I’m out. There are too many other amazing looking boxes to try. I’ve also had to contact customer service about an issue before and they were beyond disappointing.

I picked up the Farmacy masks and Gigi contour brush. Was sooo tempted to get the Nomad Berlin shadow palette, but I had to resist. I just bought two shadow palettes from Pur, and still have a Tarte and an Urban Decay palette. Product overload… glad I skipped GBP this month.

The farmacy sheet masks are really nice and hydrating, they are $6 each at sephora, so 2 for $3 is a really good deal, I might snag those if I can get on the site. However they are really tricky to apply, you need to be patient and pull them apart slowly as they are a really soft gel and can tear easily. I have used them before and loved how they made my skin feel and look after just 1 application.

Went on to Ulta and Sephora and they had some great holiday sales .. so spent my money on stuff I really wanted to try, plus for some early Christmas presents .. money well spent 🙂
I got the I dew care set with 20% off so it came out to $20.00 with spatula included I love their products 🥰🥰

I got the SLMissGlam blue brush. I love it! So pretty.

Here’s a question for longtime subscribers: is it often that there’s issues with Ipsy website with not being able to access add ons etc. I’m seeing a handful here and in Facebook, does this happen often? So irritating I can’t access mine.

And Did anyone buy the ColourPop Cosmetics eyeshadow palette cause I’m kind of regretting not buying it 😕😕😕

I wanted to purchase more items but I decided this month to not spend too much money – I will say though that the Nomad Palette is amazing so if you’re thinking of buying it do it!

I also had the Too Faced mascara sample and as soon as I made my purchase it sold out I guess because I got an email apologizing and stating it cancelled the order for the mascara due to being sold out but didn’t charge me at least so I won’t have to wait for a refund or anything at least 🤷🏼‍♀️😒

Meh add ons this month, I didn’t get any. I get the plus bag, and this is the worst month since I started, even looking at all the products list. Just not much I wanted.

I added on IT cleanser , Gigi lipgloss , vasanti in super mom ,veriphy skincare ..

My bag meh really one of my least favorite .. glad I didn’t get gbp, or ultimate , I’ll just stick with the regular until Ipsy steps up its game some .. I did pick the foundation am excited to try that . Got one Gigi product translucsecent powder but I’m okay with that

Is it just me? Or are some of these add ons products that were just recently in the rewards points items section???

I got the it Cosmetics cleanser (trying to get my husband to up his skincare game) and the Bare Minerals bounce blush – I don’t need another blush but I’m super curious about the texture and wear.

Got the Huda Highlighter pallete I was not buying due to pricing, and the trendsetter lip! So excited! Also got the benefit mascara and the nyx lip sample! Also the products in my bag where great! A good haul!

I’m so upset the Oribe scalp product wasn’t available to add on since I didn’t get it in my bag. My scalp goes crazy in cold weather and it’s one of the few items that helps. I just can’t justify paying almost $50 for a tube that doesn’t last me that long. The only other thing that helps is made by Brigeo (ap?) and it’s a little cheaper but doesn’t last long at all.

I also hate that there was only one Huda lip add-on and it was in one of the few shades I can’t wear. I just cannot do browns or brownish colors. I watched the FB video of the spoilers (which was torture btw. I do not recommend it if you’re over 25 or have ADD or very little patience), which is something I’ve never bothered with, and saw 4 or 5 beautiful shades they were putting in November bags. Two were more purple than I like but still wearable. And two were absolutely gorgeous and perfect for me. Not only did I not get even one in my regular or Ultimate bag, none were available to buy except the brownish red not even mentioned in the video.

Oh well. I did add in that $12 eye cream, mainly because it’s supposed to also help your lashes grow, the peachy-pink GiGi lipgloss and the BareMinerals bouncy blush, mostly because I’m curious about the texture.

I have the plus bag and while im not blown away with my bag im not mad either. For my add on I chose the it cosmetics cleanser (5oz).

I skipped this month, but tried to check my mom’s and the site won’t load. Either way, there isn’t anything here I think she’d be interested in

Wow, none of this appeals to me. First time since Ipsy introduced add-ons that I didn’t get anything.

I skipped this month because I’m on product overload right now but seeing the ads ons that have been available every month does make me happy that when I eventually do need more eye cream or face serum I’m going to be able to get some at a good price! I think the add ons feature is awesome.

Make sure to check the pricing. They raised some add ons to 18 and they add tax. Not a bad deal but good to know before you get excited and accidentally pay 30 percent more.

I got the Veriphy serum as add ons for both of my bags. There were some other things I was interested in (Bare Minerals mauve blush, Vasanti lip oil, Hola Neon balm etc) but I passed on them this month.
