Ok so, I see a lot of people are asking for a review! I’m a 32 y/o widowed mother of three small children. I USE AND LOVE THE MAKER CRATES 🥰 Kiwi co has been amazing for all of us. When I ordered my baby the panda crates, my three year old the koala crates and my 5 year old the kiwi crates…. I took a huge leap and ALSO ordered myself the maker crates! Funds are often tight in my house and while each crate and subscription is very affordable on its own, it’s been a worthwhile sacrifice to carry 4 subscriptions. Worth every penny. See I LOVe art and crafting but I have had ZERO time to do much of anything for myself the last several years. When I ordered the maker crates it was a promise to myself to carve out time for me to rediscover something I love. One of my biggest challenges was even if I had a moment to myself to craft, It had been so long I had lost all confidence, had no idea how to get supplies affordably, or direction on what I wanted to do. There was more stress thinking about even planning something and I’d give up bf I could even start.
Maker crates CHANGED ALL OF THAT! They really gave me a part of myself back and took the stress out of planning, it’s always something new, a new challenge. I really LEARN something every month! And often the crafts center around something useful for my house or decor 😍🙏🏼 It’s not dumbed down, but still easy for a teen to follow as well. The materials are high quality, VERY HIGH QUALITY!!!. My three babies have YET to break a single one of my projects! (Even in their age appropriate kits they have yet to break anything and I think that speaks to the real quality of materials Kiwi co puts in!)
We’ve been getting Kiwi Monthly for 6 or 7 months now, and that one small commitment I made to give myself just a bit of time to craft really changed my whole life. I know it sounds exaggerated but i cannot stress enough that that one decision and these kits changes our whole life for the better. I’m now back to doing other things I love too! I truly believe I’d still be in the same place had i not taken a chance on these subscriptions.
Now, I’m addition to the maker crates, I’m painting again! Gouache, watercolors, and evening singing and playing my guitar again! I even have found myself having time to research and try new types of art and found I really love paper quilling! I didn’t even know it was a thing! And while all the things I mentioned above weren’t specifically in the maker boxes, I’m just trying to say they opened a huge door for me. It all started with the Maker crates believe it or not. And I look forward to them every month! The baskets were my FAVORITE by far. Any sewing or sculpting projects are my favorite!
Kiwi co, I haven’t taken the chance to tell you how truly grateful I am for your company. My children thrive having extra time with me doing their kits, The maker crates are my own self care, my baby (18 m/o) LOVES her kits! My husband was an engineer before he passed, he designed Harley Davidsons and to see our little girl (the 5y/o) and our son (the 3 y/o) find a love for engineering…. I can’t begin to tell you what it means to me. Y’all have done so much for my little family and so much that has really blessed our quality of life and y’all don’t even know it. I only wish my husband could see all the things our kids and even me do with yalls kits. He would be proud.
Thank you
Kindest regards
Hannah Piercy
