Agree, $200 would buy me several items I would love and use up!

$200 for $300 value is really not a good deal. I would much rather pick out $200 worth of items I actually love.

Agree totally. I can’t understand why someone would want to spend $200 for a mix of products which will include products they wouldn’t have actually bought.
The only buyer I could imagine is someone who is desperate for a no thought gift for someone they don’t particularly know well – like a male boss getting something for his female executive assistant.
MAC is a great brand but it’s not in the super high end category where the name recognition is so prestigious that people would think it’s great to get a sampling of products without considering actual value
But I don’t quite understand a lot of these very expensive boxes/calendars because at the price points I would definitely choose to spend my money on what I want.

Would be cool if MAC was cruelty-free…

I was shocked when discovered MAC wasn’t Cruelty Free. There are so many other awesome brands that are CF. I select them for myself. Clinique is also not CF, I believe.
