Sephora is offering past Play! By Sephora boxes for $10 each! (Thanks, Marion for the heads up!) These are single purchase boxes and will not start a subscription.

I bought 7 boxes (some for Christmas gifts), plus another free october “adventure” box. I love the minis for travel and trying new things. Anything not used will be donated. I’m a fan of Farmacy, YTTP, and Fresh. I don’t know if I’ll be able to use 7 play passes within the next month, but I’ll give it a try.😆

Anyone concerned about not being able to use the 50 point play pass, I cut and pasted this from the product details on the past play boxes.
✔ PLAY! PASS redeemable for 50 bonus Beauty Insider points when used with any in-store purchase or an online purchase of at least $20.* (Don’t worry, we’ve extended the dates—the pass will now expire 30 days after receiving your PLAY! box.)
I used all of mine last time I bought them, so they definitely work.

These are boxes from the past months, so the Play Pass (points) are usually expired when you get these.

I copied this from the product details for the past boxes.

In the description it states: don’t worry that the play pass is expired, they will be good 30 days from the date of purchase. I bought 4 or 5 boxes in July and I used all the play passes from them. The only issue I had was using a play pass and getting a free gift. But I sent a message to customer support and they fixed it each time. These samples make great stocking stuffers!

I feel less bad reading here! I also purchased 5 boxes, plus the bonus add-on (“adventure”) , which is basically a 6th.
Turns out, I like Play a lot more when I can pick my box and am not going to get 12 Bite Glaces and piles of other dupes!

I bought 5 – I really get them for the travel size items I enjoy and can’t seem to find outside Ebay or expensive gift sets (laneige lip mask, Moroccan oil, buxom, korres). Plus I got an extra October grab bag, and my VIB 500 point award and another 100 point reward. This is gonna be my Xmas present to myself! 🙂

This is very tempting as I would much rather have samples than full size products. But last time they had this sale, it eventually went down to $9 each so I will wait for that and if it doesn’t happen, money saved.

Subscribing to Laurel & Reed and Boxwalla really cured me me of the smaller box FOMO. Small samples no longer feel like something I *need*, and the luxury of those products is addictive enough for me to not go after another Sunday Riley or Drunk Elephant

I was just about to ask if these products are as small as the ones in Birchbox. I’ll pass then. I just received my first Laurel and Reed this Monday and I’m kind of smitten. The milk cleanser is the November box is heavenly. I also have the fall Facetory lux plus box coming next week. Both boxes have some face oils I’m desperately in need of moving into the winter months. I love to try new products but I’m all about quality over quantity of individual products.

@Anna: Thank you for commenting this. I’m going to check out those 2 boxes you recommended. I’d like to have something cure me of the smaller box FOMO too. And as you said to have the luxury of those products be addictive enough to not go after Sunday Riley or Drunk Elephant either. Thank you!

Ugh thanks MSA. I couldn’t help myself and got 5 of them, plus the 5 extra sample choices. Please give me advice on how to placate my husband when all these little bottles show up in our tiny house 😆

I loaded up my cart with 5 of these babies…. then remembered that I just spent $50 on 2 favorites kits & decided not to pull the trigger. 😂

I might get a box or 2. I want to try the belief aqua bomb cream and some fresh products. I just received my November box. I like it the subscription so far. I feel the samples are super small compared to other boxes.

I cancelled my Play! sub earlier this week. I’d rather pick my boxes than get another box full of stuff I don’t want (like a box full of foundation).

I love this sale. I got 5 boxes, mainly for the laneige lip mask and the belif aqua bomb. I’d rather buy them as they go on sale than start a subscription.

Thank you for listing this. I was finally able to try a Bobby Brown primer first without purchasing the pricey full size. Plus, it had some travel items that I regularly use. The value is supposedly $65, but that isn’t what I go by. It’s what I have been wanting to try and need travel sizes of. Perfect for $10!

Has anyone gotten one of the boxes with a mystery item so I can know what they might be like please?

I read through the reviews and noticed the extra product varies. The ones mentioned were Fresh soy cleanser, a Clinique eye cream , and Dr. Jart.

a reviewer posted it was a kiehls serum. not sure if it’s the same for every box in the series.

Since I recently resubscribed to Flash shipping I ordered one. It’s the Your Beauty Sidekicks box B with an RV of $64.

Thanks! I got two boxes containing the Laneige lip masks. I use it every night and haven’t found anything that comes close to conditioning my lips like it.
