I just received my box today and there was no Play Pass attached to the leaflet inside. Have they done away with the extra 50 points?

Anyone have any insight on whether there’s a code for November

They must’ve done away with it. I didn’t get a code or Play Pass with my box today. When other boxes give full sized items for a similar price, why get rid of one of the few positive things that differentiate your box from the crowded beauty box field? Does this lend credence to the the rumor that Sephora is thinking about switching to a points for dollars off system like Ulta? I don’t see that happening, but why get rid of the pass otherwise?

I emailed them about the missing Play Pass, and the excuse they gave was that people wanted them to focus on the box products instead of giving the Play Pass. I cancelled today. The only reason I continued for as long as I did was because of the bonus po in nts.

For the past two months, the box contents shown in my account under current box are not what I actually receive. I am not happy about that and have voiced that to Sephora. What is up with this??

I’ve notice that Sephora’s app will show the wrong contents of my box when I click on Play’s “current box”, but if I check through their website it’ll show me the right ones. Also, You have to be logged in.
In my case, their app is the faulty one.

Annie

You’re right! Thank you, that is so helpful! I knew I was getting box 810 and was happy with the spoilers but the the app shows different items for me too! The desktop website shows the items I like, which I think is correct (box arriving tomorrow). I’m a web developer and I don’t really understand how they can have this discrepancy between their website and mobile app, they should both be using the same data for subscribers… very strange! I guess I have been checking the app more often because I would see the wrong contents at least 50% of the time with recent boxes. Also with the recent 20% off any foundation coupon included in the box, the link in the email to add that coupon to my mobile wallet doesn’t work! Glad I still have the physical coupon that I got in the box.

Nique

Thanks for the tip. I looked at my box through the app and was less than thrilled. I looked online and I’m much happier!

A mí me está pasando lo mismo tampoco entiendo el x k

Slightly off topic, but last night I posted about quite a few Favorites kits and their contents that I came across at JC Penney in MSA’s post about the sale on the kits since quite a few were also on sale at JC Penney. They had four skincare kits & one makeup kit at full price still and four makeup kits on sale… they also had three fragrance kits, but I didn’t bother gathering the details on those. I just thought I’d mention in case anyone was interested in seeing what JC Penney has since their kits are always a little different than the ones in Sephora’s… also, I see the sales post is now on the 2nd page, and I wasn’t sure how many people are like me, and rarely go beyond the first page of MSA. lol

Lori

Thanks, Luna! I’m totally interested and had wondered about that when they posted!

#836 is box F. Ciate, nars, kiehl’s, Lancome genifique, Lancome lash primer, and the Versace perfume which isn’t even shown. I wished we could opt out of certain products like perfume or hair. My only complaint about this subscription. I don’t even mind repete if they good items.

Reply ButtonReply

RougesEn3D

Of course. This is my box #, and I was hoping to not receive any of those items. I don’t like any of them. Instead of making a skincare heavy box, why not use a hair item or another makeup item for variety? I haven’t been a subscriber long, but each box I’ve received has been heavy in one category and lacking diversity. Very disappointing. Last month I received all medium toned foundation samples… but I have fair skin. They were so dark (middle of the medium zone) that my light-medium toned niece couldn’t use them. This is my last box. I haven’t been able to use a single item yet. I would actually use mascara, if they would send that.

Reply ButtonReply

Katie Corrigan

I also have fair skin but the sample that they sent me looks like something snow white or a geisha girl would use. Didn’t even know that foundation came that light.

Lee Ann

I’m surprised this one didn’t have one considering I usually get one in mine. The foundation samples last month were off for me also. Which isn’t surprising. I can probably mix something in it to correct the color. The Lancome mascara instead of the primer would’ve been my preference.

Marysa

Great box , I will receive the Dr jart cicapair, nars,Clinique lip balm,Lancome hipnose mascara, glamglow and black opium perfume sample

tammy g.

this is what I got in my box..i believe the number was 786.

Aura

How can I know what I’m going to get in my box ?

Lee Ann

Now that’s a good box also. I prefer that to mine.

Amanda

Does anyone know what’s in #824?

Reply ButtonReply

Marysa

I checked the website today and is already actualize , go to Sephora play and then see this month

Reply ButtonReply

Stormcloude

Wow. They didn’t even mention that they’re not giving out the Play pass anymore. How sketchy.

Reply ButtonReply

Lizzie

Honestly, this was the big the thing that led me to cancel. Not only did they stop including a Play! Pass, but there was NO communication about it. They just replaced it with a coupon last month and then left it out completely this month.

I feel bad for the CS reps on the front lines when Sephora corporate pulls this. It’s no different than the points error they made a few months ago where they just deleted people’s points as a “correction” without telling us what was up.

Reply ButtonReply

Emma

They’re not?!?!

Boy, that changes my calculus for this box.

Reply ButtonReply

Courtney

I’ve been looking everywhere for box #795 contents, and customer service told me today. Couldn’t be happier!

Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder
Clinique Almost Lipstick
Devacurl Melt Into Moisture Matcha Butter Conditioning Mask
Kiehl’s Calendula Serum-Infused Water Cream
Lancôme Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Serum
Atelier Pacific Lime

Hope this helps some people out 🤗

Kenley

I really wanted the Artist Couture and sadly didn’t get it. I never get highlighters! What is your profile set to?

Reply ButtonReply

Courtney

Sorry I stopped typing on hair by accident lol I have wavy/curly hair that is coarse as well. What did you receive in your box??

Courtney

I actually never get the highlighters either – fortunately, because I’m not a highlighter wearer lol – but this one is so beautiful and versatile with it being a loose powder!

Combination skin, fair complexion, wavy hair! I have several skin and hair concerns checked off but for skin it’s: acne, blackheads, dark circles, pores, redness, and sensitivity. Hope that helps!

Nikkim

I canceled and I’m not really sad about it but there are a couple things I would like to try out of this group. And always excited to try a replica perfume. But I wish Sephora would hop on the train with other boxes and offer subscribers a chance to choose one item that would be cool.

ash

Same here. I would stay if they had this option

Reply ButtonReply

Victoria

How can you find the box number you are getting?

Reply ButtonReply

Tamra S

Look on Sephora.com (the app won’t work) and find your order for this month’s box. Look at order details for the item #. The last 3 digits is your box number.

Reply ButtonReply

Monica

More repeats..

Reply ButtonReply

Tamra S.

Always so many repeats. That’s why I finally cancelled.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephany Rivas

I’m so glad I cancelled. Sephora doesn’t send any good products not even the products that they said they would send in their emails. All I used to get was a bunch of repeats.

Reply ButtonReply

Mel

There is actually a lot of great stuff in this box. I am no longer subscribed and I’ve received most of the items before, but for a new subscriber, it’s awesome!

Reply ButtonReply

Denise Atkinson

I wanna know who gets that perfect box that is shown. If I could get that one I’d resubscribe

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

Lots of repeats 😕

Reply ButtonReply

RoguesEn3D

If I could put my own box together it would be either hair item, Lancome Hypnose mascara, Clinique Black Honey, and the YSL Black Opium.

Reply ButtonReply

Kenley

If anyone does not want their Artist Couture, I will buy it from you!

Reply ButtonReply

Kc

I have an order number but not an item number so I can’t even figure out which box I’m getting

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley

If you are checking on the app, it won’t work. You have to use the website and then it’s the last 3 digits of the item number.

Reply ButtonReply

Kc

Thank you! Any spoilers for #783? I haven’t seen any for that box number yet

Emma

If they aren’t going to send skinfix OR the dr jart to people like me who have REDNESS marked as a skin concern, then once again, I don’t know why they bother with profiles.

But if the spoilers are accurate, I’ll at least be getting the kiehl’s, which I do like.

Michelle

Now I wish I resubbed! Would love to swap for matcha mask and skinfix! https://swap.mysubscriptionaddiction.com/user/51504/profile
