For boxes that include primarily full size skincare with decent sized samples thrown in (if any are included) you may want to also take a look at the boxes that fall in the green/clean/k-beauty genres.

In addition to the boxes already mentioned (which are great options 🙂 ), some others you might want to look at are The Clean Beauty Box, Beauty Heroes, Bomibox, Boxwalla, British Beauty Box, Detox Box, Facetory Luxe, Maple Blume, Mintd, Organic Bunny, Pearlesque, Pink Seoul, Pink Seoul Plus. I know there are more I’m spacing on. 🙂 For the most part, MSA has reviewed these boxes (maybe with the exception of Maple Blume & British Beauty Box), so maybe you can look at past reviews to see which ones might meet your needs. 🙂 Also, I don’t think any of these are exclusively skincare boxes (some of them feature specific brands each month, which may be non-skincare brands), but I’d say these boxes primarily focus on skincare and always include full size products, and decent sized travel sized “samples” (if any are included…although I think the k-beauty boxes will include the occasional packet sample or two as “bonuses”).

I love TestTube and Laurel and Reed is my recent obsession. I stuck with these two + BeautyFix for travel purposes, ditching everything else. I don’t need 20 tiny lipsticks and foundations.

It sounds like a great box this month. I’m so happy there is no foundation, I had three last month, too.

It literally says “one box variation”. Yes, all those products will be in the same box.

I did the same, I always loved the products I got in my play box but they were too tiny to be worth it. I subscribe to BoxyCharm, Ipsy Glam Bag Plus, Ipsy Glam Bag (the only one I still sub to that gives samples but theirs are usually larger and I’ve recieved full size items every month since I subscribed) and The Box by Fashionsta. I’m also on the waitlist for BoxyLuxe and really hoping I get the Decembet box. I get Allure through Amazon as well but I skip all the months that aren’t worth it to me (which is most) but November is looking good so I’m un-pausing for November and December (december has a full size ABH highlighter palette that is absolutely gorgeous and were getting 2 other full size products along with 2 deluxe/samples size products)

Between my daughters and I, we’ll use everything (except probably that perfume). So I signed up, even though I’ll probably get none of that, lol. Here’s to hoping!

It’s not red. It’s a pink rose color.

I’d be thrilled to get a red lipstick. In my 12 months of getting this subscription, the only thing I ever got was nude/mauve corpse lipsticks. Definitely ready for something different!

It’s not clear from the post, but Play has always included five items and a sixth “bonus” (typically perfume samples, but recently, other samples as well). So the perfume is technically a bonus.

No, they don’t, and you can buy Atelier Cologne at a number of retailers. I’ve received maybe two samples over three years of subscribing to Play! I really like them so I wish I’d gotten more.
