I am a balm enthusiast and I especially love them on my poor calves. I always use super gentle and natural formulas on my legs because I have psoriasis and anything can set it off. I was immediately excited to try this specific balm because of all the super nourishing ingredients such as shea, marula oil, vitamins C+B+E, rosehip oil, and even more! It is also scented with a blend of essential oils that together smell very earthy and slightly sweet. The fragrance is very soft too, which is an added bonus. My legs loved this stuff! It actually absorbed faster than most other balms I have tried and didn't leave much of that classic balm sheen. I wouldn't change a thing about this formula, other than maybe magically making the pot bigger!

Cali Vibes Mistletoe Candle, 8 oz - Retail Value $18.o0
'Tis the season for holiday candles, which is either a hit or a miss for me since I don't enjoy foody scents. Luckily, this candle smells like evergreens and cedar rather than cookies or chocolates. We actually burn loads of woodsy holiday candles in my house which only enhance the scent of our fresh Christmas tree. My husband actually looks forward to the whole house smelling like a forest every year! This soy candle will be an awesome choice for burning throughout the holidays because the rich scent is very strong and fills our entire living room and kitchen with ease.

Bella Mia Mama Faux Fur Scarf - Retail Value $25.o0
FYI: This scarf is about 63 inches long and 4 inches wide.
I don't usually wear browns, but my mom sure does! She also loves cozy scarves, so although this might not find a home around my neck, I think she will love it. It is over 5 feet long but on the thinner side, meaning you can tie it in a cute and warm bow or loop it around your neck multiple times for added warmth.

DIY Jellyfish Ornament - Listed Value $23.00 (Buy a kit of 3 for $32.99)
Ok, this might be one of the most unique items I have ever gotten in a subscription. And it is a plant, which is an automatic win for me, as I have a "plant problem." (Those are Will's words, not mine!) This little kit comes with an airplant, clear line, and an urchin shell. You then string all these pieces together and have the cutest little jellyfish!

Robyn Rhodes Adjustable Ronnie Ring - Retail Value $45.00
Finally, our last item is a very modern geometric split ring. Though I wish it was solid sterling, it is silver plated and undeniably well made. It adjusts to fit most any finger (my ring finger is an 8 and I had no trouble) and the look is classic and clean. I don't have anything else like this in my collection.
The Verdict: California Found is still one of the most unique subscriptions I review and I love it for this. It is truly one of those boxes that celebrates small makers and always has items and brands I can't find in any other box. If you are looking for a truly small business/artisan box, you can't miss this one. The value is consistently there ($135 this month!) and all of the items inside have so much heart.
