The JoJo Siwa Box Winter 2019 Review
I love the blue color of our winter-themed box! We received a total of six items this quarter, so let's check them out!
BowBow Vinyl Toy
This cute little vinyl toy features JoJo's dog, BowBow, in fun gradient glitter colors. I love the teal that fades into light purple and the tiny bit of sparkle that the glitter provides. My daughter will be using this as a toy to go with her vinyl JoJo dolls that we've received in previous months!
Tie-Front Top, Size 6/8 (XS/S)
It looks like we are all about BowBow this quarter! Our apparel this winter is a long-sleeve tee with a cute tie waist. I love the color which matches the rest of our box and my daughter likes the cute graphic complete with JoJo, BowBow and some white snowflakes surrounding them. We signed up for a 6/8 but it looks like the shirt is labeled as an XS/S. Either way, the fit is great for my daughter who wears 6X/7 in clothing.
JoJo Bow
Our bow this month is a bit more simple in design with a plain purple ribbon over a sheer teal blue layer. It features a little BowBow face in the center and has an alligator clip on the back which helps to hold it in her hair well.
The bows are nice and big and the quality is great. We have several now, and they have all held up well and lay very nicely in her hair thanks to the quality ribbon they use.
Pillowcase
We actually just painted my daughter's bedroom and we are working on the finishing touches like her bedding, so she was super excited to see a pillowcase in her box. While this is probably not what I would want to sleep on each night, it makes my 5-year-old happy! The rainbow looks very sparkly and you can tell JoJo herself is very lifelike. I thought the quality was good and I like that it is envelope style so the pillow will stay put.
It fits in well with her pink room!
Garland
This was another item that my daughter was excited by! I got her a mini Christmas tree for her room that she loved decorating so she was really happy to have some more holiday decor. This is one of those simple things that they include in these boxes that I don't realize are going to be such a big hit. I guess the curators know what they are doing!
It actually matches her old curtains pretty well. I hung it up using binder clips just to show you, but it has loops at the end which will make it easy to hang up nicely when we are ready!
JoJo Star Charm
The last item in the box is our collectible JoJo charm and this time we received a little star with a bow on top.
Here it is on our charm bracelet! Each quarterly box comes with a charm to add to the bracelet that came in the very first box which you can order separately here (for $6.99). New subscribers can also add the bracelet to their subscription for a discounted rate ($3.99) when checking out.
Verdict: My daughter really enjoyed this winter JoJo Siwa Box. The color scheme was great and perfect for a winter box. Her favorite item was the shirt and I do think it was really cute with that little tie at the front! She loved the garland and pillowcase for her room and I thought they were great unique items. The bow was also pretty and goes well with the top. Overall, it was a great mix of items and definitely worth the $37 ($30+ $7 shipping) cost of the box. I am not quite sure it meets their promised value of $60 but since they are exclusive JoJo items, I am sure we are pretty close!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, as of publication the Winter box is still available. If you are interested in this box, I suggest signing up soon since these do tend to sell out quickly! FYI: The Christmas shipping deadline is December 18!
Value Breakdown: This box costs $30 + $7 shipping, which means that each of the 6 items in the box has an average cost of $6.17.
