Our monthly favorites posts have been so popular, we decided to start a monthly post highlighting our favorite edible discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite meals, snacks, wine, teas, and anything else edible from the past month:
Savannah's Favorite:
The Item: Korean-Style Fire Chicken with Rice Cakes & Bok Choy
The Cost: $9.99/serving
From: Blue Apron
Why I love it: My whole Blue Apron delivery this month was a slam dunk following a less-than-stellar experience the month before. It was almost impossible to pick a favorite recipe between the 2 I ordered but this Korean meal took the crown. Tteokk-bokki is my all-time favorite Korean dish because I'm wild about rice cakes and gochujang, so learning how to make a similar dish at home was very satisfying and made me feel incredibly proud of the end result.

Megan's Favorite:
The Item: California Co Almond Brittle
The Cost: $4.00
ACTIVE DEAL: Get free shipping to US addresses.
CODE: SHIPSFREE
From: California Found
Why I love it: I have a major sweet tooth, and this cinnamon brittle was exactly what I didn't know I needed on a particularly taxing afternoon. It was so sweet and cinnamony and wonderful that I was glad the bag didn't have a lot, or I would have over indulged!

Ragan's Favorite:
The Item: Nutiva O'Coconut Classic
The Cost: $8.59
From: Vegancuts Snack Box
Why I love it: There were a lot of strong contenders for favorite food item this month, but these won out in the end. (I think they have been discontinued, though, and I am sad about that.) These have a wonderful texture and just the right amount of sweetness (which is, admittedly, a lot) and they were a lot more moist than some of the other coconut treats out there (not dry and crumbly).
