Sea Witch Botanicals Canary Clean All Purpose Cleaner, 4 oz - Retail Value $6.00
We go through a lot of dish soap in my house and even though we have moved on to a brand that is more enviornemntally friendly, I would love to reduce the plastic waste we create in our home all around. A bar like this seems like an easy place to start. It also has a really lovely orange scent which smells so clean and fresh! The box says I can epect this bar to last as long as 10 bottles of my normal fare, so I am excited to see how far I can stretch this!
Matr Boomie 'Durga' Necklace- Retail Value $38.50
I always love ethically made jewelry, and Matr Boomie is responsible for a few of my favorite go-to pieces. This long necklace is made of rosewood and brass and represents earth and fire elements. I really like the shield shape because it adds a geometric sort of flair to an otherwise quite boho necklace, giving it a clean edge that works well with my style.
As always, I love a longer necklace!
Roots Apothecary Cocoa and Coffee Clay Mask, 55 g – Retail Value $25.00
Many of you know of my aversion to clay masks because of my dry skin, but lately, I have been using them on my T-zone more often. The clay in this one was pretty far down on the ingredients list so I knew this might be a winner. The main ingredients in this blend are super hydrating plant oils, so this mask was actually really moisturizing as well as clarifying. It has coffee grounds inside too, so there is a light exfoliating effect when you massage it onto your face. It smells just like coffee and cocoa, though not at all sweet, but rather deep and earthy. This was a winner for me!
Roots Apothecary Gaia Thieves Essential Oil Blend, 15 ml – Retail Value $18.00
Wow! What a blend! I feel like I am in some sort of amazing and earthy spa when I put this in my diffuser. The scent is a blend of cloves, lemons, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary, so it is herbal as well as bright and zingy. It feels so refreshing and very medicinal, in the best way.
Elate Cosmetics Sheer Lipstick in 'Vivacious', 5 g - Retail Value $22.00
How cute is this bamboo tube? I love it! Inside is a very sheer and natural lipstick that would easily enhance any lips out there. The formula is over-the-top moisturizing and adds just a hint of red to my pout. It also smells really great: very sweet, creamy, and natural.
Such a great natural lippie!
Meema Waist Apron - Retail Value $24.00
This has to be my favorite item in the entire box! This apron is just so well made and useful. I do a lot of painting and live model sketching, and this is the perfect type of accessory to keep all of my brushes, pens, pencils, and more on hand when I am standing in front of an easel. I love the light denim material and think it feels super sturdy. There is a part of me that can't wait to break this apron in and get paint all over this because then it will be even more beautiful!
NIU Body Boost Facial Serum, 1 fl oz - Retail Value $31.00
This is a really nice serum, especially if you have dry skin. A blend of rosehip oil, grapeseed oil, vitamin E, and geranium, this is a real treat for winter skin. It absorbs easily and has a geranium scent that also reminds me of roses. If you prefer not to use this on your face (or if you are on the oilier side) try it out on your legs, cuticles, the tips of your hair! The possibilities are endless and wherever you use this will benefit.
Earthlove Lunar Calendar - Listed Value $15.00
I had a similar calendar for 2019, so I am very grateful to have a replacement for the new year. I consider myself a pretty casual moon watcher, but I love being aware of the different phases. It makes me feel more connected to the heavens somehow. This is a beautiful lunar calendar with clear dates and phases so you can reference it at a glance. It is also printed on heavier cardstock, so it feels quite sturdy.
Elements Truffles Maple Toffee Chocolate Bar, 50 g - Retail Value $6.00
Finally, our last treat is a toffee covered bar of 75% dark chocolate. Chocolate is the fastest way to win me over, so finding it inside this already awesome box feels like the icing on the cake. It was truly delicious, and the toffee chunks were the perfect addition to this smooth bar.
The Verdict: I am really digging this month's Earthlove box. What a wonderful assortment of thoughtfully curated items! Not a single dud to be found in here, at least for me. Everything felt really special and on-brand. I especially adore my new apron, necklace, and essential oil blend. The moon calendar and book were also favorites. Oh! And the chocolate! Well, everything! If you are on the hunt for a really wonderful and eco-conscious box, consider giving this one a try.
