- The Premium Box: 4-6 premium accessories to upgrade your wardrobe for $100/quarter. You must apply and be accepted for this option.

Gentleman's Box January 2020 “Pound for Pound Warrior" Review

We also received an issue of the Gentleman's Post which is basically a booklet that describes the theme for the month and highlights the items included in our box. This month's box is in honor of their favorite Pound for Pound Warrior, Michael B. Jordan, and it looks like we have a lot of dark colors to suit this Black Panther star's darker roles.

Windsor Tie Co. Tie - Listed Value $29.00
This tie is dark and classy! My husband and I were both big fans of the deep gray color accented with skinny black and white stripes. This is unlike any other ties he owns and will be a great way to snazz up any shirt for work or special events!

Barry Beaux Bow Tie - Listed Value $35.00
Since our honoree frequently sports a black tie on the red carpet, they included this fancy and unique tie with two different fabrics that come together for a classy look. This has an adjustable area at the back for different neck sizes which makes it easy to take on and off without taking the whole thing apart.

Bow ties are not my thing. I can do them, but it takes me several tries. You can see my first attempt (swipe) was terrible, but the second wasn't too bad. I figure you could at least get an idea of what it looks like.
And if my terrible bow tie doesn't do it for you, here is what it should look like according to the booklet. You can see the fabrics are reversed and can be worn either way which makes this a pretty cool bow tie!

Lockstep Apparel Socks - Listed Value $15.00
The socks are actually very similar to the patterned print on our bowtie. They are black with some pale gray accents and they are nice looking. They are a blend of 75% cotton, 23% nylon, and 2% spandex. My husband liked them and thought they were comfortable.

Here they are on. I love the way the lighter heels and toes contrast with the dark body of the socks!

Soft Landing Collar Stays - Listed Value $20.00
My husband actually just received a set of metal collar stays in another box and they were one of his favorite items because he can definitely use them. Since these are an item that are easily lost, he is excited to have another set. This one has three different sizes and comes in this nice case which will fit discreetly into his work bag and look classy since the case hides what's inside.

HyperGo Travel Wipes in Full Body and Fitness - Estimated Value $1.00 each (Buy a set of 10 for $9.99)
The last item my husband received were these two packs of body wipes, each with one large 12" x 12" wipe inside. They are made 100% from biodegradable natural fibers and contain antibacterial and moisturizing ingredients such as oatmeal, aloe, and vitamin E. They are hypoallergenic and free from alcohol, parabens, and sulfates. The Full Body wipe (orange) is fragrance-free while the Fitness Wipe (green) comes in a refreshing mint scent, perfect for after a sweaty workout. These will both be great for my husband to stash in his work bag for his next work trip! They also included a coupon for 25% off which is nice!
Verdict: My husband was really happy with this month's Gentleman’s Box! He thought the tie was really classy and while the bow tie is not something he will wear often, he will be happy to wear something so unique when he has occasion to! He liked the socks, was stoked to have some more nice collar stays for his work shirts, and the wipes were a nice way to round out the box. The total listed value (plus the estimated value of the wipes) comes to $101 which is awesome for a $29 box with free shipping!
