Glossier is a buzzy beauty brand with a knack for aesthetics, founded by the minds behind Into the Gloss. Their signature barely-there makeup styles have quite the cult following.

Our Glossier Limited Edition Skincare Edit Review
I am happy to report that this kit came with some Glossier swag. I received a sticker, some giftable tags (as if I would give any of this away...) and the iconic pink bubble wrap pouch! The bubble wrap is between layers of vinyl and they are pretty unpoppable.
The molded kit case is made of hard paper and is very, very cool. It has a pale pink band you can use to close it.
There is also info about the kit attached to the handle.
Isn't this so pretty?!
Let's take a closer look inside!
Balm Dotcom Universal Skin Salve in 'Original', 0.25 fl oz - Estimated Value $6.00 (Buy a full-size 0.5 fl oz for $12.00)
Balm Dotcom Universal Skin Salve in 'Rose', 0.25 fl oz - Estimated Value $6.00 (Buy a full-size 0.5 fl oz for $12.00)
When I think of Glossier, this is the product I think of. This balm quickly became an all-purpose cult favorite when it launched in the original flavor, but the brand quickly created different flavors and tints because people loved it so much. I think some of this love is because, let's be real here, this is a very pretty little product. Add to that you can use it on your lips, skin, cuticles, brows, lids, and I am sure more places, this is a minimalist's dream. I received both the Original and Rose in this kit. The original is flavorless and scentless and is a true workhorse. The rose has the just slightest hint of pink, making it really lovely for lips, though the pink is so slight you could get away using this most anywhere. The main ingredients here are petroleum jelly, castor oil, beeswax, and lanolin which are all moisturizing power-houses. The balm isn't as heavy as those ingredients sound, and I found I really liked it on my lips and dry elbows. I will say that I preferred the rose because the original felt a little TOO basic for my personal tastes.
Super Bounce Serum, 0.5 oz - Estimated Value $14.00 (Buy a full-size 1 fl oz for $28.00)
If I remember correctly, Super Bounce was released with two other Glossier serums: Super Pure and Super Glow. This trio was also once sold together in a gorgeous set with pretty packaging which I found really, really irresistible and almost bought multiple times. I did end up not purchasing (I hate paying for shipping) but I am glad I finally get to try at least one of these! Super Bounce is a hyaluronic acid serum paired with B5. Hyaluronic acid exists naturally in skin, but adding a little more in your products helps with moisture retention because this acid has a large molecular structure and helps binds water to the skin with super easy absorption. I thought this serum was really nice because it left no stickiness and absolutely helped my skin feel more hydrated all day long.
Priming Moisturizer Rich, 0.5 fl oz - Estimated Value $10.29 (Buy a full-size 1.7 fl oz for $35.00)
This was easily my favorite product in the entire kit. I loved everything about this moisturizer. First, the scent was wonderful. It was kind of like a lavender, but better! It also has some sort of Glossier Anti-Redness Complex that totally worked for my ruddy skin. The texture was more of a medium weight, but the absorption was great and it truly did leave my skin feeling supple and primed for makeup. The ceramides inside left my skin so soft. I like anything with ceramides because they form a barrier in the first layer of your skin that helps to prevent water loss. I am probably going to end up buying the full size of this one as my new favorite day cream.
Mini Milky Jelly Cleanser, 2 fl oz - Retail Value $9.00
Oh wow, I also loved this cleanser. So often cleansers feel liquidy or runny, but I love a true jelly texture, which is exactly what is inside this bottle. It feels thick and decadent, clinging to your face and grabbing on to all of the dirt and makeup left after a long day. The goal of a good cleanse is to balance out your skin's pH, and since this formula is already pH balanced, it goes a long way. I was really interested to read that some of the cleansers inside are the same sort of ones used in contact solution, which is why it is so gentle on your eyes!
Futuredew, 0.5 fl oz - Estimated Value $12.00 (Buy a full-size 1 fl oz for $24.00)
I had read about this product (there was A LOT of hype for this release) and felt very confused. Was it makeup? Was it skincare? A hybrid? All I knew was that I love a good mystery and the iridescent glass bottle was calling my name. Inside that gorgeous vessel is a peachy-toned and rather heavy serum that feels like both a gel and an oil somehow. It applies clear and looks super, super shiny, but not shimmery. I actually looked super oily when I applied it to my whole face, even under makeup. I do not recommend this look but I have noticeable pores, so this application just made me look like an oil production factory. I did have more success using this as a spot highlighter on top of my makeup, but I had to be very light with my application or I just looked too shiny. I am still really confused by this stuff, but I want to love it so much.
Glossier G Headband
This is a really cute pale pink headband that will be perfect for holding my hair back when I am cleansing my face or applying masks. It has a line of silicone along the inside to keep it in place on my head.
Verdict: The Glossier Limited Edition Skincare Edit was a really awesome way to try out a bunch of products from a line I have been super curious about. I actually wish they would build a makeup one to try! Value-wise, the total rings up to about $57.29 before the headband, which isn't a massive deal for the $50 spent, but it sure beats buying only one or two products that might be a miss for you or hauling all of your Glossier favorites in your travel bag. In typical Glossier fashion, everything is beautifully designed and a joy to open and display on your dresser or vanity. I definitely liked certain products more than others, but this was a really great intro to this super popular line.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you order today? Yes! This kit is still available!
Value Breakdown: At $50.00 for this kit, each of the 7 items in this box (including the headband) has an average cost of $7.14.
