Menlo Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (style, fit, and size preferences) and they send a curated package of Five Four contemporary wear, Grand AC athletic wear, and New Republic accessories. On average, you receive two items per month and every month is different. Plus, receive easy size exchanges, free shipping, and pause or cancel anytime.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Menlo Club "The Comeback Kid" Review

You can check out the package preview video for this collection on Menlo House's YouTube. This is a great way to get a peek at what each style profile (Classic, Casual, Forward, or Mix) will be receiving each month. Hint... you can update your profile if you want different items.

I've recruited John to help model and review this box. Menlo Club included an outfit from Grand AC this month for each style profile. John is set up to receive "Mix." Let's check it out!

Each month, John receives an invoice for his items.

This month, Menlo Club included a promo code for FOCO, a website that sells all things sports fandom.

Five Four Montello Long Sleeve Button Down Shirt in Charcoal

John's first item is this 100% cotton button-down shirt. The fabric is soft and comfortable and the pattern is a neutral plaid of soft grey and off-white. The details are what elevates this piece, including the adjustable cuffs, button-down collar, and locker loop. I didn't snap a picture, but there is an informational diagram printed inside of the shirt describing the details. The one adjustment we'll need to make to this shirt is the length, which is normal for John. He won't want to tuck it in, so we'll shorten the hem slightly to give it a more custom fit.

Five Four Anvik Pullover Sweater in Black

If John wore half-zip pullover sweaters every day during the chilly season, I wouldn't be mad. They look great on him and are so easy to style. This one looks sharp with its mock neck collar and understated zipper. Like the shirt above, it is 100% cotton and machine washable. It doesn't feel basic though. It feels luxe!

Verdict: I have to say, I'm impressed with the way Menlo Club puts together its subscription. Each month's selections build on previous boxes to help create a solid, versatile wardrobe. The monthly previews and videos give subscribers a chance to see what they'll be getting and to update their style profile if needed. The button-down shirt and pullover sweater included in this month's Menlo Club package are perfect for the time of year and John will get a lot of wear out of them. It's also impressive that such high-quality items are offered consistently at a great price.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? All items are based on your style profile. Check out what's included for the different styles on the Menlo House blog.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $60 + free shipping. Based on the quality of these pieces and prices of similar items, I think this is a great value.

Does this sub offer plus sizes? If not, are there any out there that do that are specifically for men? My husband needs big and tall.

Does anyone know if there is a subscription box out there that sends out band t-shirts. My husband wants a subscription like that but I can’t find one. I did find a couple but it says that they are out of business. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
