Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five pieces too!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Dia & Co January 2020 Review

That Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month got an update! Now it comes as a sleeve so you can pull out the message and attached invoice. Wild! Looks rather chic, though, I must say!

Enclosed is a kind message from this month's stylist, Kristin S. This month, I took advantage of the option to select three of the five items in my styling box. I loved her phrasing of "Thank you for allowing us stylists to fill your heart and closet with pieces that spark radical self love!" Yes! People sometimes don't realize how much an outfit can change your mentality and how you carry yourself. Fashion can be a powerful thing because it is self-expression! Thanks, Kristin!

The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My some of my prices are listed and some aren’t, so this form is a bit inaccurate. The total would be $317. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $222.75! The savings would be $94.25 if I did decide to keep everything! That isn’t too shabby! That would cover most of the balance for the kimono and the Rachel Roy sweater! What a deal!

Claire Rainbow Lurex Dress by RACHEL Rachel RoySize 2x — Retail Value $119 (on sale for $79)

I had been eyeballing this dress for some time, so I felt compelled to select it for this month's box. I thought the colorful stripes were made of crushed velvet, but alas it is this beautiful mesh-like metallic material! It is so much prettier in person than I had imagined! Wow! The dress has loads of stretch, I could have probably gone down a size if I had wanted. This dress would look great layered with a black turtleneck underneath, but I instead opted to style this number with my go-to faux leather biker jacket and my new favorite gold faux snakeskin western booties from ShoeDazzle (review coming soon!). This piece would have been glorious for the holidays, but I sense I will get tons of wear from it throughout the year!

Avens Sweater by RACHEL Rachel Roy, Size 2x — Retail Value $89 (on sale for $59)

Back for my November Dia & Co review, I selected the Rachel Roy Avens Sweater Skirt. I loved it so much, I decided to also select the matching sweater top! I do not regret this choice at all! I can't resist any animal prints, so you know this was truly a must for me. The beauty of an item like this is how versatile it is. It looks fantastic with the coordinated top, but looks just as wonderful with jeans or with a black faux leather pant or skirt as well. Think of all the mixing and matching you can do! In observation of Valentine's Day, I wanted to show the set paired with red and pink items like my Hester Sunshine beret and my flower power Laser Kitten earrings. Imagine how sleek this would also look at the workplace with black heels and hoop earrings. Dynasty '80s chic, am I right?

Leroy Skinny Jean by Molly&Isadora, Size 22 — Retail Value $65

For my December Dia & Co review my stylist, Kristin, sent me a pair of flared jeans. I liked the jeans, but wasn't wild about them on me. Kristen listened to my feedback and sent me a pair of skinny leg jeans also by Molly&Isadora. Guys, I think I am in love. These jeans fit me like an absolute dream. They are a higher waist like I prefer, the dark blue rinse is perfect, and the tapered leg on these is perfect as well! I love these jeans because I can tuck them into boots without them being too bulky. The material is thin, but not too thin with the perfect amount of stretch. These are certainly becoming a staple in my wardrobe, and I sense they will be that for you too if you choose them as well!

Terry-Ann A-Line Dress by MarybelleSize 2x — Retail Value $65

The last item I choose for myself this month was this A-line dress by the Marybelle brand. This dress can be worn alone, but I immediately knew I wanted to  layer blouses and shirts underneath for a more complex look. The dress has stretch and fits like a glove, but is incredibly comfortable! I love it with this black and white striped pussybow blouse and matching Laser Kitten flower power earrings. I want to wear this ensemble to work for a full on Sue Ellen Crandell look, but don't worry I won't take out any of the petty cash! Since it is still rather chilly out in my neck of the woods (unlike Sue Ellen's city of Los Angeles), I can also envision wearing this piece with a longer sleeved button down blouse and  a cardigan over top of optimum warmth. This dress is such a value due to its all year long adaptability-- heck, I have dozens of looks in my head based around this dress alone! The $65 price will pay for itself in all the outfits I will get from this adorable number!

Carin Short Ruffle Sleeve Kimono by Downing Studio, Size 2x--Retail Value $49

Finally, we have this ruffle sleeved kimono by Downing Studio. I especially like the boho-style print on this kimono, it gives the piece a vintage feel. I wasn't sure if I was in love with this one until I tied it, then I was more on board!! Tying it really creates the more waist-defining, cropped look that I love. This kimono could certainly be worn all year too, but especially in the spring and summer. I love these kimonos paired along with bikinis poolside, while sipping on a frosty cold drink. Can you tell I am ready for summer, is it that obvious? The material has a crepe paper-like feel in texture, but is light, airy, and rather easy to wear. Pair this with bell-bottom jeans, a body-hugging tucked in tank, oversized wire sunglasses, and loads of bangles and a beaded necklace for an easy-breezy look for warmer weather days.

Verdict: Dia & Co remains one of my favorite boxes to review. I love that you have the option to buy pieces separately or sign up for the subscription box-- it makes the service more tailored and convenient! My favorite recent development is the ability to select up to three of the five pieces in your monthly subscription box. I took full advantage of that feature this month and had fun selecting items for myself!  I love the pieces I selected, especially the Rachel Roy brand items, as well as the ones my stylist picked out for me. Especially those Molly&Isadora jeans-- they fit so perfectly! This month's box truly was a  home run-- I got so many wonderful additions to my wardrobe! As always, I strongly suggest trying out the option of selecting three of your items, but also to provide your stylist with feedback every month and to create a Pinterest board. This helps your stylist pick out pieces for and inspired by you! I can't wait to see what is in store for me in next month's box, can you?

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia & Co curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you! Also, take advantage of their option for you to pin pieces and select up to three items for your monthly box as well!

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $317. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $222.75 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is a 29% discount.

I loved the first dress on you, then I was wowed by the second one, and so on! Everything that you got looks so great. I agree, the kimono looks better tied but is a great addition to the dress. You make fashion boxes so much fun! Thanks for the review
