The Whole Foods 2020 Beauty Bags go on sale Friday, 3/13. (Thanks for the heads up, Lauren!) There will be two bags available this year!

Whole Foods Market’s highly anticipated Beauty Bags are back and available in limited quantities starting Friday, March 13. The Beauty Bags, which retail for $20, are filled with a mix of mini and full-sized products from brands like Dr. Hauschka, ACURE and Mad Hippie, and are valued at more than $120 each. This year, shoppers can choose from two curated Beauty Bags, the Conscious Beauty Kit and Renew Your Beauty Ritual. Each assortment comes in a Queen Alaffia cosmetic bag, handprinted by artisans in Togo, West Africa.

This is available in stores only. Call ahead to your local store to confirm they have the bags!

There were plenty of both bags this morning in Wheaton, IL

My Whole Foods had plenty at 10:30, the store was packed with panic buyers however so hardly anyone was focusing on the bags. They had a limit of 1 bag per person, not one of each type but 1 only. The lines were down the aisles so I chose the black bag and got in the much faster express line.

So weird that policies differ store to store. I bought 4 this morning (2 for me, 2 for sister). No limits. Only a few duplicative items between the two bags, not bad.

Due to the coronavirus scare and people limiting their exposure the Whole Foods in Rocky River, Ohio was stocked with beauty bags at 11:00 am this morning!! I was easily able to get one of each and they even had them stocked on an end cap. Win Win!!!!

Yeah my mum picked one of each up easily around 1:30 at the Cedar Center Whole Foods on the east side of Cleveland! I’m in Canada so looking forward to her sending the stuff she doesn’t want (probably most of it) hehe 🙂

I got mine this morning at 8am when they opened. There were only about 10 of each on the shelf and they sold out quickly. Loving the quality and trying new things!

Oh I wish these were available on line, I don’t think we have a Whole Foods in Canada! 😥 I really love my Country but sometimes it really sucks because we aren’t able to get access to alot of the great deals you guys are able to get! Enjoy ladies!

We definitely do have Whole Foods in Canada! There are a few in Vancouver and southern Ontario and probably elsewhere. However, the beauty bags are US-only. 🙁 It certainly seems true that the US has most of the deals and fun stuff, though!
And sadly, I now live in a province that has no Whole Foods.

I have a WF down the street but I typically have to leave home right at 7am to get to work on time. Might risk lining up at 7 and trying to purchase a bag within 5 minutes before hustlin off to work. I’ve never managed to get a WF beauty bag before and I’d like to try.

Does anyone know if these are available at the Whole Foods 365 stores? One opened up close to me recently and I haven’t been. I know they are smaller stores and unsure they even have a beauty section? Thanks for any help!

I don’t think that they have beauty sections- at least mine doesn’t. They don’t carry the full line of Whole Foods stock, mostly just the 365 brands.

It couldn’t hurt to ask them though.

What time do they start selling these? One year it wasn’t till like 11 am??

I think it seriously depends on management and how organized they’re. I would recommend calling your local store the day before. Some of the bigger market areas have set times. But, I think the stores that don’t have the huge lines at 7am kinda just do what they want. I’ve gotten the bag 3yrs in a row. And, 2 out of the 3 I just asked them about it. And, they got a bag for me from the stockroom.

I honestly think it depends on management at your local Whole Foods. I would call the day before and ask. I’ve bought a bag from WF the last 3yrs in a row at the same store each yr. but, my experience was different each yr. First, year I went at opening and the bags were all on display right at 7am. 2nd yr I forgot about it until 11am and walked in and saw no bags out. At first I thought it was all sold out until another woman asked and the manager went to the back and got her one. And, got me one too. 3rd yr showed up at 7am and there were about 20 of us waiting. Went in nothing out… we all stood in the makeup section and since there were so many of us standing there they came out with a few boxes and we told go ahead and grab what you want from the box.

I got both bags last year and the year prior they are soo worth the hassle TRUST me. Does anyone know if they are doing the recycle program like they did last year?? Bring in a empty beauty product bottle?? I use one of the beauty bags from last year as my everyday skincare bag, such a beautiful design, quality, and size and that’s just the bag so imagine all of the amazing goodies inside!!!!!

I totally recommend if you can get to a WF to do so on the 13th

PSA: For those getting a bag, I remember that some stores will hold a bag for you. I believe you may need to pay upfront for it though. I’m not sure if all stores will do this, so make sure to ask the person in the Whole Beauty section if their store will do that.

Also, make sure to check the contents of your bags before leaving the store. Last year, I remember reading a decent number of bags (mine included) were missing at least one product. I let it go, but it was still disappointing. I read that if you bring it to the store’s attention, then they will let you pick a replacement product by picking something from their travel section. I’m not sure if it would have to be a like product, but I’m sure they’ll let you know. 🙂

Word is getting around about how great these bags are. There were bags available for at least a week the first year I was at WF last year and waited in line for the doors to open and most of the bags were gone w/in a few minutes of store opening.

Wow, I never even knew about these bags! I definitely want to get one. So do I got this right, on March 13th go to my local Whole Foods to get one- it’s not a order on line item? Ya, last year at the store I went to I think the bags were gone in as long as it took everyone to (civilly) grab one. lol This year, I’ll be hitting up a new Whole Foods in my neighborhood, rather than one near my work in the city, so maybe they’ll last a bit longer there…. but I still plan to get there a few minutes early to ensure I get one. 🙂

Unless they changed the rules, for the past two years they’ve only allowed one bag of each kind per customer. Can you bring a friend or a relative with you? I always see moms bring multiple kids with them to get multiple bags. lol
