Are you ready for the fourth annual MSA Galentine's Day party?! We are pumped for February 13th!

If you aren't familiar with Galentine's Day here's all you need to know:

We are going to be celebrating you with lots of fun giveaways and a few great offers, too! (We'll be doing giveaways with extra prizes so that you can share with a friend, and there will be waffles!)

The party is Thursday, 2/13 from 1-3 PM ET.

UPDATE: All you need to do to get in on the fun is visit MySubscriptionAddiction on February 13th from 1-3pm et and look at our latest posts. You'll see posts for each giveaway and you can read the post for all the details on how to enter the giveaway. Remember to also follow us on Instagram and watch our stories for reminders about the event and to see each giveaway.

To get in the spirit, we recommend watching the Galentines Episodes of Parks and Recreation! (Season 2 Episode 16 - available on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.) It's always good to rewatch this one once a year, or if you're new to Parks + Rec and wonder why we're talking waffles, this will get you up to speed!

FYI to all who never watched Parks and Rec and are wondering what/why something from a TV show is turning up as a celebration here, Galentine’s Day has actually made its way into the mainstream: Target has a card section with a Galentine’s Day sign.

It’s similar to what happened with the Seinfeld show and Festivus (hope that one is still relevant!), but probably even more appealing because it opens up Valentine’s Day to a whole other group of people beyond couples and kids/parents, it plays nicely into the “girl’s night out/in/weekend” concepts, and it’s quickly understood.

For whose who can’t stream the episode, find it or part of it on YouTube or read about it on Wikipedia.

I am so lost! Do what? We don’t have hulu or amazon prime and we just got 3 new movies from Netflix in yesterday…so that’s not gonna work 🙁 Plus, not a fan of Parks & Rec. Oh well, guess a bunch of us are lost

So sorry! There’s no need to do anything with Hulu or Amazon Prime or Netflix – watching Parks & Rec is not required for the event. We were inspired by the show to celebrate Galentine’s Day so we like to watch it leading up to the big day.

Just check out the mysubscriptionaddiction.com home page on February 13th from 1pm to 3pm and you’ll see posts that will give you all the info you need to enter the giveaways.

Hi Mellissa! So sorry if this wasn’t clear. There will be Galentine’s Day themed posts on the homepage on February 13th publishing between 1pm and 3pm est. Each post will contain the details of the giveaway and how to enter. There will also be a page where we gather all the giveaways in once place as they go live and that will be easy to find from the homepage as well.
