Sisley Paris "Sisley Favorites" Box January 2020 Review
Since this is the last Sisley Beauty Subscription box, they once again included a goodbye letter. They say at the end that they'll have an update about something new in Spring so we'll keep our eyes peeled!
The final Sisley Paris Box has the theme "Sisley Favorites" and includes five items, one of which that is a repeat from last month.
Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Concentrated Firming Body Cream, 8 mL - Estimated Value $21.07 (Buy a full-size 150 mL for $395.00)
I received this same sample last month, but I enjoyed it so no problem for me to have a little more as a last hurrah. The cream is super-rich in texture and aims to tighten up skin that is starting to droop or otherwise show signs of aging. While I'm all about growing older gracefully, my skin doesn't have the same elasticity it had when I was a teen, so let's have at it!
Hair Rituel by Sisley Regenerating Hair Care Mask, 0.27 oz. - Estimated Retail Value $3.83 (Buy a full-size 6.7 oz. for $95.00)
This sample packet is from their hair care line, Hair Rituel. Last month I tried the clay mask and this month I got a regenerating hair care mask that uses shea, macadamia, camellia and hazelnut oils to nourish not only my hair but my scalp while improving shine and strength. My hair is really feeling soft and smooth after using this. I've also noticed my ends not looking as ragged (though I do need a trim). I think I'll be able to get at least two uses out of this packet, so I'm pretty pleased.
Sisley Paris Ecological Compound, 0.13 oz. - Estimated Retail Value $9.75 (Buy a full-size 2 oz. for $150)
This is Sisley's #1 bestseller and apparently one is sold every minute which is really hard for me to comprehend. This rich white cream feels really nice on my skin but the scent... I cannot. It's very heavily fragranced and I find it rather "sophisticated" for a facial product.
Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask, 0.38 oz. - Estimated Retail Value $31.54 (Buy a full-size 2 oz. for $166)
My eyes lit up when I saw this little purple bottle. Masking is a real passion of mine and this one has black rose, padina pavonica, and alkekengi calyx extracts which are supposed to give me more youthful-looking skin. This is essentially a really hydrating moisture mask that I left on for 15 minutes or so while I did some morning chores. My skin soaked up a lot of it, but I removed any excess as directed with a soft washcloth and my face was feeling hecka nice!
Supremÿa Eyes At Night, 0.88 mL - Estimated Retail Value $18.77 (Buy a full-size 15 mL for $320)
Sisley's night eye cream uses açai, yeast extracts, and caffeine to combat dark circles as well as soy peptide extract to reduce sagginess around the eye. The cream is really lightweight and is fragrance-free which I appreciate, especially around my delicate eye area. Like all eye creams, I'm not expecting results right away and will need to use this for a longer period of time but my skin does feel nice after use and hopefully, for the price, it makes a difference in the long run.
Verdict: The final installment of the Sisley Beauty Subscription was a good one. I'd say that the black rose cream mask was my favorite, but I can't imagine paying for the full-size tube once this one is gone. This subscription opened a door to a world of luxury for me, but at the same time, I don't think it felt as special as some other skincare boxes to me. What they definitely do well is delivering a great value since their products are so pricy. The five small samples I received have a total of $84.96 retail which is amazing for a $10 box.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No- sadly, this subscription has ended.

- Black Rose Mask: $3.71
