Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson, which includes a plus size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member. The VIP Membership works like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month. You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

Finally, I received a coupon for 20% off at Function of Beauty. I had never heard of them before, but learned that they are a customized hair care service. You can have shampoos, conditioners, and hair masks personalized for your hair type, hair goals, and scent. You even get to name the product for yourself as well! Wild!

I had been eyeing up this outfit due to it being a $49.95 outfit, but I was also drawn to the color palette of lavender, lilac, and pink. I recently have embraced the color purple more, so I figured why not? Unlike most of the outfits I select, this one comes with a T-shirt instead of a sports bra. I have amassed quite the collection of sports bras over the years, so I was excited to get this crop style shirt instead. The fit is rather boxy and the length hits me right at the waist. I am curious what the 2x would have looked like, but I love how the roominess of this piece. I love that the length isn't too long and that the material is light and breezy. I have worn this to the gym already-- I love it!

I have to be honest with you guys: I am not a fan of camo anything, so I was extremely iffy about getting these leggings. However, the camo almost looks like a purple/pink cloudy sky due to the stars, so I don't mind it as much. The print is not my favorite of my Fabletics pieces, but the fit is on point. The High Waisted Powerhold leggings always provide the perfect amount of compression and comfort. They are my go-to leggings that I recommend to anyone willing to listen. The only other issue I noticed is the back seam on my behind. I kept trying to adjust my leggings, but the seam still seemed to be off-center. I did not notice this 'til after I cut all the tags off, so I am committed to keeping these babies no matter where the back seam may be!
Verdict: Though this set is not my favorite ever, Fabletics continues to be my favorite brand for activewear! Fabletics has truly upped their game on prints and styles in plus sizes and recently branched out in offering size 4x! I, for one, am incredibly excited about this step in being more inclusive. I do hope they expand even further to a 5x or 6x, but this is still a big jump in the right direction! This is just another thing I will bring up to my friends when recommending Fabletics. I constantly tell people how much I love their VIP program. Items are offered at a VIP discount, but there are additional sales that frequently go on and periodically I get coupons too! I can't wait to see what deals and styles they have next month, can you?
