Fortune Cookie Soap “Good & Evil” February 2020 Review
Here is the info sheet for this month’s box.
Afternoon Delight Perfume Oil
I don't love perfume oils, but I do love the smell of watermelon in just about anything. This has notes of watermelon and ripe apricots, and it definitely gives off watermelon bubblegum vibes. That isn't a perfume scent I would reach for regularly, but I did enjoy it.
Native Nectar OCD Hand Sanitizer, 1 oz
I will take absolutely all of the hand sanitizer I can get right now, so hop into my purse, new friend. This is coconut scented, and once the alcohol smell fades I do enjoy the slight coconut scent that remains on my hands.
Marshmallow Dreams Whipped Cream
The whipped cream lotion formula from Fortune Cookie Soap is one of my favorites, so I am always happy to have more. This little guy has notes of lavender, sage, basil, a splash of vodka, and marshmallow fluff. Honestly, though, this just smells like straight marshmallows. I'm not mad about it, and it leaves my legs smooth and soft. Win-win!
Make It Rain Fortune Cookie Soap
These fortune cookie soaps are such a joy to receive- they're just lovely. I really liked the fragrance of this- it has notes of citrus, jasmine, musk, and cedarwood, and reminds me of a fancier perfume.
Forbidden Fruit Mini Bubble Scoop
I will never say no to more bubbles in a bubble bath and this mini scoop is precious. While it's not enough to give me mounds and mounds of bubbles, it gave me enough for a peaceful bath with waters scented with blueberry, lemon zest, and verbena.
The Bloom Bloom Room Wax Tart
I no longer have a wax melter, and I honestly need one. This has a sweet floral scent with notes of jasmine, lilac, lily of the valley, peach, and citrus. Unless the formula has changed, I was always happy with how long my previous wax melts from FCS performed when I had a functioning wax melter. Also, how cute is it that it is a flower?
The Verdict: This box got me all ready for spring, and I especially appreciate the extra hand sanitizer in these current times. All of the scents were lovely and other than the perfume oil all of the products are in the process of being used. I appreciate that this is a low-cost monthly subscription that brings me joy while also providing products that get used.
