Keto Krate March 2020 Review
I have been on and off the keto diet for about 3 years under a recommendation by my physician, and have had great success! Currently, I have been "living the lifestyle" for about 2 1/2 months and I have lost about 15 pounds, multiple inches, and just feel so much better! I have 2 young boys and a husband who can eat the contents of an entire ice cream truck and still be fit, while I just watch and gain weight! I found this box to provide healthy, tasty, and fun keto snacks that I can have when we have family fun night without blowing my diet and without feeling like I'm missing out.

St. Patrick's Day is upon us, so we received a green-themed cardstock pamphlet filled with fun tips, stories, a poem, and activities. My kids thought the "Leprechaun Yourself" addition was fun, and I really enjoy reading the success stories! The pamphlet also features the link to this month's product info (krate.club), tips on how to manage your subscription, and a delicious looking recipe for pecan sugar cookies.

I love chocolate chip cookies and miss my non-keto friendly version terribly. That being said, these keto-friendly ones are dang good! I love the chewy, soft texture and the fact that these have a good amount of chocolate chips strewn throughout all of the dough. These were sweet and didn't leave a funny aftertaste in my mouth, which I always consider a win! I am happy to say I found these at Wal-Mart, and bought a small stockpile of them!

Look at this amazing chocolate bar. Honestly, I have never seen such a pretty bar jam-packed with so many goodies, not to mention it's HUGE! I have acquired a love of dark chocolate, and this particular bar is covered in pumpkin seeds and has the perfect amount of sea salt sprinkled throughout. I honestly don't think this bar could get any better!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this chocolate almond bar, but I found it to be quite satisfying! This bar's texture was a little crunchier than I was expecting, but almost had a brownie-like flavor. I liked the almond slivers sprinkled throughout the bar and was really excited they included this in our box since they are pretty spendy.

How fancy do these chocolates look?! I was very interested to try these ketosis cups that paired chocolate and coffee. I am not a coffee drinker, so I quickly discovered these chocolates just weren't for me. They have a very strong coffee flavor which was expected, and while I was hoping I would magically start liking coffee when paired with the almond and chocolate, sadly I didn't. The chocolate had a good crunch and did give me a boost of energy with the included caffeine, but I will be passing the other one on to my coffee-loving co-worker who is also on the keto diet.

I LOVE peanut butter, so I couldn't wait to open this up for a taste. I found it very interesting that these bars include 6 brain nutrients in each bar and help strengthen connections between brain cells, improve memory recall, lower levels of free radicals and inflammation, and reduce the risk of cognitive disease. Anything that does that plus includes peanut butter is my kind of bar! I really enjoyed the combo of chocolate and the savoriness of the peanut butter chip and felt very satisfied after eating this bar.

These pecans are fabulous! These all-natural roasted pecans taste so fresh and have the perfect amount of sea salt added for a sweet and savory snack. I was very excited to have received such a large bag as pecans are my favorite nut of all time! I found these to be a great addition to my lunchtime salads or even just by themselves. Both of my kids found these delectable as well, so I had to put them on the high shelf!

Bring on the savory snacks! I love parmesan cheese and have tried a few different brands of these crisps. Cello was a new brand to me, and I think it is my new favorite! These crisps are the perfect size and have a great crunch. The parmesan flavor was tangy and strong which I really enjoyed. While my son didn't care for them, I loved them not only by themselves but on top of my salad as well!

Before starting keto, I was scared of pork rinds. About a month into my journey I decided to give them a shot, and I discovered I am a fan. I usually like a spicier pork rind flavoring, but I really enjoyed the nacho cheese flavor we received this month. I found the pork rinds themselves to be perfectly crispy and crunchy with the perfect amount of flavoring. They were good and cheesy and had me reaching for more! I am going to have to investigate what other flavors they carry!

Yummy! This was a darn good bar! I love caramel and sea salt, and this bar balances sweet and salty perfectly! I love the soft and chewy texture with all of the nuts they use in this bar. I also appreciate that there are zero added sweeteners. I read other flavors made by this brand are cocoa and orange bars and coffee and walnut - I'm going to have to check those out!

ChocZero Milk Chocolate Pecan Keto Bark, 6 oz - Listed Value $6.99

Hooray! Another big bag! I love receiving large-sized snacks, especially when it's something I really like. This pecan keto bark was awesome. This milk chocolate uses monk fruit in its sugar-free goodies, so it is free of sugar alcohols. I found the chocolate to be delicious tasting, and the pecans gave it a perfect savory flavor to balance it out. I really appreciated the fact that each bar was packaged separately, so I can disperse them in my purse, car, and at home!
The Verdict: This is my second month reviewing the Keto Krate box and I am impressed! Like I mentioned above, I have 2 little boys, and treats are an important part of my life. In order for me to stay on the keto diet, I need to be able to have a good snack, and this box has really given me options! This box has introduced me to a lot of new brands, and I had a lot of fun trying these new items. This month I really enjoyed almost every snack, and found some must-have items to keep stocked in my cupboards! Not only are the snacks great, but I liked the information they included as well, and found the St. Patrick's Day theme fun and upbeat. I can't wait to see what they send next month!
