Kinder Beauty Box Natural Beauty March 2020 Review
Each box comes with an info card that has each product pictured with a short description and listed value, so you know what each product is worth. Each brand featured this month is offering an online discount for subscribers; Kinder Beauty Box provided a second sheet this month listing featured brand's websites and promo codes to save on each site.
Willing Beauty Do Over Cleanser, 3 fl oz - Retail Value $18
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this mild cleanser. It didn't do a thorough makeup removal, but I loved it as the gentle second step of a double cleanse. This cleanser is fragrance-free, and it made my face feel clean without feeling stripped of all my natural oils. I was also pleased to see this cleanser has anti-aging and firming properties as well.
Opagee Beauty Rosehip Oil Blend, 1 oz - Retail Value $21
Rosehip oil is my favorite oil for my acne-prone, dry complexion. I was happy to try this blend; it is as nourishing as it is hydrating, and it helped smooth over my dry patches. My results using this rosehip oil were identical to when I use The Ordinary Rosehip Oil, which is a fraction of the cost. I think I will stick to my cheap alternative, but I am happy to have a backup!
ESW Beauty Green Reset Sheet Mask - Retail Value $6
This is my favorite type of sheet mask; the actual mask is thick, is totally soaked in serum (with ample serum left in the bottom of the packet) and it stays put once you pat it down. I set my timer for 15 minutes and once that time was up, I removed the mask and let the remaining essence on my face dry. My face felt smooth and nourished with a hint of a glow. This green mask contains spinach, kale, broccoli, and apple, which should promote youthful skin and diminish the look of wrinkles.
Medusa’s Makeup Eye Dust in Penny Wise - Retail Value $8
Every time I try a product by Medusa's Make-Up, I end up falling in love. I am already a sucker for a smooth metallic eyeshadow, so this is really no shocker. I love using loose eyeshadows, especially when the containers have sifters like this one. It is easy to use, and it blends like a dream! I used this for an all over the lid shadow, and I loved the look! This color is the exact color of a Penny, although, the name of the shade, Penny Wise, just reminds me of the clown from It.. am I the only one?
Glaminizers Renew + Dew Mist, 2 oz - Retail Value $24
I was definitely not in the market for a new makeup setting spray, but hey, the more the merrier, right? I enjoy trying new setting sprays in hopes that I find "the one." This one, unfortunately, is not at "the one" status, but it is a nice spritz to prime the face. The nozzle is not ideal for a setting spray. The mist just isn't fine enough to set makeup; however, this worked nicely as a priming facial spray. It has a subtle herby fragrance to it, and I like that Glaminizers added the balls into the glass bottle to help unify anything that has separated.
Verdict: March's Kinder Beauty Box had a solid collection of products to try out. I really liked ESW's mask and Medusa's eyeshadow, and I can never have enough rosehip oil. This month was unusually skincare heavy, but I liked it all the same! The value of this March's box came to $77, which is triple the cost of the box. I liked this month's curation, but I am hoping there is more of a variety of products next month.
