Many MSA readers have let us know that they may be trying out a meal kit or grocery subscription for the first time this week as a way to get fresh produce and food delivered without having to leave their homes. We wanted to keep a list of all subscriptions in one place as a reference. We'll be updating this list daily with delivery windows so that you can plan meals for the next few weeks accordingly.
Below are all Meal Kit Delivery & Grocery Subscriptions that are still accepting new subscribers. I've included the soonest delivery date for my zip code (Pittsburgh, PA), so your soonest delivery date may vary slightly. I will keep this list updated on a daily basis so you can use it to plan out your grocery/meal needs for the next few weeks.
Last Updated: May 5th, 2020.
Delivery Schedule
As of May 5th, if you sign up for any of these boxes, you can expect to receive your first box the following week (typically within 7-10 days). All of the boxes on this list clearly message your delivery date in the checkout process, so you can confirm when you'll receive your first box before you pay for anything.
This list contains both meal kits (typically weekly deliveries of packaged ingredients to complete 2-5 recipes of your choice) as well as online grocery services (which range from meat boxes to membership sites that include a variety of pantry foods and other household goods).

Cost: Subscription boxes start at $70 + free US shipping. Sign up here!
What You Get: Porter Road is a purveyor of 100% pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb, and chicken, from farms in Kentucky and Tennessee. They raise their animals humanely and sustainably, and all their processing—from harvesting and dry aging to hand-cutting each and every piece—is done in-house. You can purchase meat a la carte or subscribe to one of five box options.
Good to Know: Due to the natural environment and organic, vegetarian, non-GMO diet Porter Road's with which animals are raised, you may notice their pork, lamb, and beef are darker in color, and their chicken has a golden yellow tone to it. That deeper color represents deeper flavor, which comes along with the territory of humane, healthy raising.
