Our monthly favorites posts have been so popular, we decided to feature a monthly post highlighting our favorite edible discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite meals, snacks, chocolates, and anything else edible from the past month:

Savannah's Favorite:

Home Chef February 2020 - slow cooker meatballs marsala finished dish top view

The Item: Meatballs Marsala with Campanelle Pasta + Peas

The Cost: $7.49/portion for 6 servings

From: Home Chef

Why I love it: This was my first slow cooker meal from Home Chef and it was fantastic. I'm really growing fond of the 6-serving meals. This particular dish included a crockpot liner so cleanup couldn't have been easier, and as for the recipe itself, it was super simple to throw together, perfectly savory, and incredibly filling. Plus, it kept well in the fridge and reheated like a dream.

The Item: Nora’s Food Co. Original Grain Free Granola

The Cost: $9.99

From: California Found

ACTIVE DEAL: Get free shipping to US addresses.
CODE: SHIPSFREE

Why I love it: This is a grain-free granola (who knew?) made of coconut instead of oats. It was so delicious!! I have found myself craving this stuff on and off ever since I finished the bag, so I am going to reorder in the future for sure!

Ragan's Favorite:

The Item: Taza Chocolate Almond Milk Quinoa Crunch Organic Chocolate Bar

The Cost: $6.99

From: Vegancuts Snack Box

Why I love it: This is one of the better vegan attempts at milk chocolate that I have tried. Also, the quinoa isn't too hard but adds a nice texture. And it's nice to get a full-sized bar. I have seen some other products from this product line at Whole Foods and I am really tempted now that I know this one is delicious.

Haley's Favorite:

Snack Nation February 2020 granola open

The Item: Grain Free No-Grain-Ola, When Honey Met Maple

The Cost: Buy a 12 pack of 1.5 oz bags for $30

From: SnackNation

ACTIVE DEAL: Get the 6 snack box for just $1 plus shipping! No coupon needed - just use this link.

Why I love it: I love this granola!! I didn’t expect to – I have avoided grain-free granolas because usually they're made of mostly seeds and I don’t tend to be big on eating handfuls of seeds for snacks. But this is delicious and has opened my heart to the world of grain-free granola! The honey + maple flavor is well balanced and tasty and the larger coconut flakes are a great addition to the texture. I meant to just taste this for review and save it for later when I was hungry but once I tried it I wanted the whole portion!

Brandi's Favorite:

The Item: Aunt Sally's Creamy Pralinette, 0.65 oz

The Cost: Listed Value $1.33 (Buy a box of 12 for $15.99)

From: Bonjour Jolie

Why I love it:  I loved all of the Louisiana-based treats that they included this month, but this one, in particular, was really delicious! This praline is handmade in New Orleans and while it was pretty sweet, it had the right balance of creamy, sugary sweetness and pecans. This was a treat that I definitely savored and gladly would have accepted more of!

Becca's Favorite:

The Item: Munk Pack Peanut Butter Keto Granola Bar

The Cost: Buy a 12 pack for $24.99

From: Keto Krate

Why I love it: This granola bar had everything I look for in a snack. It was crunchy, sweet, salty, and filling all in one! I am absolutely addicted to peanut butter and when combined with the coconut and sunflower seeds the perfect crunchy texture was formed! That and the fact it is only 2 net carbs make it a definite win for me!

So sad that Aunt Sally’s has shut down temporarily due to the virus. I love pralines!

Are there any good subs that send out pantry staple curations? Something not primarily snacks.

Hey Katy! Two come to mind. CrateChef sends out a bi-monthly box that’s curated by a different well-known chef each time. It’s a combo of pantry items, recipes, and nice kitchen tools. Mantry is also bi-monthly, and contains artisan food items curated around a theme. To me this one’s a little more novelty, though the things they send do always sound intriguing and delicious! Hope that helps!
