I’m ready for May spoilers! I’ve been sitting this one out for a while and I’m hoping I’ll like May.

I was on their site to subscribe. I see if you only order one box it is $35 but if you subscribe, it is $25. I intend to subscribe and that is what is selected in the drop-down box but when I proceed to checkout, it comes up as $35. I don’t want it for $35.
Liz, or anyone, do you know how to fix this? Or do you have to pay $35 the first month and then the price drops for subsequent months?

Not sure if you’ll see this Melody, but to subscribe to the box you need to go to the menu in the far upper left corner of the Dermstore website, and towards the bottom of the menu list you’ll see “Beautyfix” – click that to get the subscription rolling.
They do offer some of their past boxes on their site to purchase as individual items (like you’d be buying any other product online) but to sign up for the actual monthly subscription box, go to the “Beautyfix” option in their menu.
I know you might not even see this message, hopefully you found it! It’s a GREAT sub box and one I have loved since I started getting it. I love Dermstore in general (who doesn’t?) and their customer service is pretty stellar as well.

So funny – those were the 2 items I was most excited about! Just got my box and I’ve used 3 of the 7 products already. Love ‘em all!

So funny. I opened my box today before seeing this post and was like “meh?” The hydrating mist looks like the smoothie I forced myself to drink this morning. I’ve had the Caudalie eye cream before and all their products are good. Maybe nothing looks exciting in the middle of a pandemic?

Other than the mist, I will get use out of every product. I might even save the mist for Summer/Fall. Glad I picked this one up and bought Pearlesque for this month, too. I have my eye on one more box this month, but I’m happy so far.

I’ve been eyeing BeautyFix for several months and this box finally convinced me to subscribe! I would’ve gotten something similar to the pimple patches and the Vitamin serum which by themselves would have been around $25. Excited to try the REN cream and enzyme peel too!

A good looking box! I usually don’t wear mascara because I get racoon eyes, but I’ve had good luck with some tarte ones (Light, Camera, Lashes! and Gifted) – so I would try this and not feel bad about wasting a lot if it didn’t work.

The Vitamin C and Eminance aren’t particularly interesting to me, but the rest is lovely! I’m tempted to purchase this box!

Pretty nice box! I just used the coupon code for Vitabrid that was featured in an Allure box a couple of months back to buy three bottles of their Vitamin C serum, or else I’d be all over this.

Oh I have Vitabrid shampoo I received from Test Tube New Beauty and love it!
Is the vitamin serum watery or on the thicker side?

It’s on the thicker side for a Vitamin C serum, but doesn’t have dimethicone in it. It’s VERY hydrating, which my drier skin loves. I usually use a hydrating serum on top of a Vitamin C serum in the morning, but this does the job of both. I love it, and saw real difference in the firmness/brightness of my skin after using it for a month. It’s way out of my budget, typically, which is why I scooped three up when it was on sale. (It’s actually still on sale, just with a different code than the one Allure sent out. It’s normally nearly $70 and the coupon code knocks it down to ~$10. You do have to pay shipping, though.)

I love the Vitabrid brand and the Vit C serum consistency is in between a normal HA serum (thick) and an essence/toner (thin). I bought the Vitabrid toner which is thicker than water but not as thick as a serum, then I bought a bunch of the Vit C serums (using Allure code!) which I adore, and I also got the Vitabrid Vit C face/eye lotion which is amazingly moisturizing. The brand in general is stellar and I wish is wasn’t so darn expensive at regular cost. When it’s on sale I try to grab as much as possible. But everything I’ve tried from Vitabrid is top notch for sure.
