Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. In fact, it's one of our readers' top picks for Best Fitness Subscription Boxes of 2020!
You can shop Fabletics in two ways—you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new VIP members. (It's unclear if "new members" refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you'd get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you'll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
Put simply, this subscription won't automatically send you monthly packages like other services do. (But they will automatically charge you if you take no action.) You have to hop into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

Fabletics VIP Membership Review - March 2020
My delivery didn't have a packing list but came with the usual HelloFresh coupon (check out my in-depth review for all the details on this popular meal kit here), as well as 20% off at Function of Beauty, a $100 voucher for Naked Wines (more on that here), and a $40 referral bonus if you get a male friend to sign up for Fabletics.
Take It Easy 2-Piece Bundle - Retail Value $124.90/VIP Member Price $69.95
I couldn't resist this 2-piece bundle of black comfy items that I could wear inside one it's not so cold. I don't have a lot of sleep shorts either, so I had that in mind when choosing my set this month!
The clothing always comes sealed in polybags with tags.
Keva Longsleeve Hoodie, size medium - Retail Value $79.95/VIP Membership Price: $69.95
The first piece of the set is a lightweight hoodie in black. It's made of 63% modal, 37% polyester, and comes in a relaxed fit that looked slouchy and comfy on the model.
The hoodie fits really oversized and boxy which makes me wish I would have gotten it in a small. Since the neck is so large, it easily slips down over my shoulder which perhaps is a cute look but I'd rather it stay in place. Regardless, it's ridiculously soft and comfortable. Definitely a great lightweight hoodie to toss on over just a sports bra while running errands (in the future) or lounging around at home. It has a front pocket as well so that I have somewhere to put my hands or toss my phone when my hands are full.
Roxie Tricot Short in Castle Rock, size large - Retail Value $44.95/VIP Membership Price $34.95
The color of these shorts doesn't match the hoodie perfectly and is more of a washed black hue but that doesn't bother me. They're made of 63% modal and 37% polyester just like the hoody and are just as lightweight.
Here they are on. They're quite short but soooo comfortable. I will most likely only wear these to lounge around the house or sleep in which is the main reason I purchased them. There are slit pockets on both sides and matching piping around the trim. I've been wearing these quite a bit since working from home and I bet will get even more use out of them once the weather stays warm out.
The Verdict: My bundle from Fabletics this month is right up my alley. Although the hoodie turned out to be more oversized than I thought, it's still wearable and quite lounge-worthy. Both pieces are incredibly soft and I got them at a great price before the shorts eventually sold out.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this item if you sign up today? Since this is from March, the shorts are unfortunately sold out, but the hoody is still available.
Value Breakdown: I purchased this set as a VIP Member for $69.95 which is a 44% discount off the non-member price of $124.90.
