POPSUGAR Must Have is a lifestyle subscription box for women. Each season, members get beauty, fashion, food, fitness, and home items from top and up-and-coming brands that POPSUGAR editors have tried, tested, and loved. (It was voted one of the Best Subscription Boxes for Women by MSA readers, too!)

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: POPSUGAR Must Have

The Cost: $75 a box

If you haven’t signed up yet, use coupon code MSA20 to save $20 off of your first box!

The Products: “Must Have” items for women selected by POPSUGAR editors. (Fitness, Home, Beauty, Food, and more)

Check out all of my POPSUGAR Must Have reviews and the Women’s Subscription Box Directory!

Each box comes with a booklet detailing and introducing all the items in the box.

Now, on to the items!

Canvas Home Shell Bisque Bowls, Set of 4 – Retail Value $66

This is an exclusive rainbow set to POPSUGAR and that the size for the bowls is 6″D x 2.25″H.

How gorgeous are these spring pastels? I love the colorful glazes contrasting with the sand-colored bases. And these are handmade porcelain and dishwasher and microwave safe! Since we've been eating all meals and snacks at home recently, these bowls have been used daily - they are the perfect size for a snack, bowl of cereal, smoothie bowl, etc.

Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask – Retail Value $42

I'm always happy to see Glow Recipe in a subscription box, and this eye sleeping mask is new to me! The formula is designed to help brighten, depuff and treat the appearance of dark circles. I need help with dark circles, so I'm cautiously hoping to see results after a few weeks. It's ingredient-conscious, and it has encapsulated ingredients like retinol, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide that time release throughout the night. I found the formula to be rich but not greasy, and very gentle on my skin. Even if I don't see reduction in the appearance of my dark circles, I really like this as an eye cream - I love how hydrated it makes my skin feel.

Omorovicza Magic Moisture Mist – Retail Value $95

Two high-end ingredient-conscious skincare items in one box! And his mist is heavenly! The spray is super fine - you can apply it throughout the day over makeup. Also, unlike most facial mists, this is actually a moisturizer. It's part oil, part water, and you shake it before applying, so the hydration lasts.

The Book Club Anti Blue Light Lenses - Al The Chemist in Sand – Retail Value $40

(subscribers have the choice between 4 styles)

Since I've been working from home now, I'm spending even more time than usual in front of a screen. (Although my husband Eric and I are getting into jigsaw puzzles for a nice break!) With even more time spent staring at screens than before, these glasses have been really helpful. I also know I shouldn't be looking at a screen 2-3 hours before I go to sleep, but I'm really bad at actually following that rule. These lenses cut down blue-light absorption by 30%, so they are helpful to wear throughout the day if you are trying to minimize eye strain, or you could wear them just the few hours before you go to sleep to reduce blue light potentially supressing melatonin production.

Bluma Project Luna Necklace in Sand – Retail Value $75

(All subscribers can pick between this color or Lagoon)

This is a three-tiered necklace with a mix of tassels and brass beads. You can adjust the length to 20 inches at the longest, or choker length at the shortest. While I normally stick to delicate gold jewelry, I appreciate getting a slight push out of my fashion comfort zone every once in a while! It's giving me vacation vibes, and I want to pair it with a black maxi dress and some warm weather!

Smudge Wellness Glow Spell – Retail Value $49.50

This set of crystals curated for Must Have subscribers is designed to help "reset, recharge, and reconnect in a meaningful way." I am definitely a newbie when it comes to the world of crystals, but I can get behind the idea of creating and reinforcing the intentions you want to set in your life. The instructions included ask you to create a list of the toxic things you want less of in your life, a list of what you would like to replace these things with, and a list of what actions you can take to manifest those changes.

(Also, that zipper case is pretty slick!)

Now, time for the Special Extras in the box! (If you aren’t familiar, these are extra items that don’t count toward the value of the box. AKA bonus freebies!)

YOGI Blackberry Apple Cider Digestive Awakening Tea - Retail Value $4.99

This caffeine free tea is made from Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Powder, Organic Raspberry Leaf, Organic Ginger Root, Organic Licorice Root, Organic Blackberry Flavor, and Organic Blackberry. It's designed to help support healthy digestion. I love tea, but I've bever been really able to get past the smell of Apple Cider Vinegar to enjoy the benefits, so I wasn't sure if I would like this.

When you first open the pouch, the Apple Cider Vinegar scent is STRONG. But once I brewed a cup, the flavor was very subtle. I didn't use any sweetener either and really enjoyed the tea! I plan on buying more of this tea in the future, I like that it helps settle my stomach (or at the very least, doesn't aggravate it.)

Clorox Scentiva Disinfecting Wipes

What a difference a couple of weeks makes, right? I feel like these wipes are now worth their weight in gold! While I was searching for Clorox wipes online (all out of stock), I saw these Scentiva ones (also out of stock), and I was curious about the scents, so this was a perfect way to try all of them out. I am happy to report that the scents are not overpowering, and a nice alternative to the standard lemon and orange scents from Clorox that I'm used to! I liked them all, but I'd say the Tahitian Grapefruit Splash is my favorite. I look forward to a time in the future when I can easily buy these!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $367.50 not counting the special extras! I think that's an incredible value for a $75 box! I think this box is a good mix of home items, beauty, and fashion. Plus, there are many items that I'm already using daily. I really appreciate the quality that POPSUGAR maintains with their curation, too. So many great brands!

I just received my box and it’s half empty. I’m so disappointed!! It was sealed and taped, and didn’t appear to be tampered with at all… I didn’t get the moisture mist, bowls, crystals… the mist and bowls were the items I ordered for. I emailed them but I’m worried because I don’t know how their customer service is. UGH!

Reply ButtonReply

Sandy

Not great customer service and I don’t think right now they will do anything anyway with the warehouse working at a bare minimum. If they still have the items in stock you might get them eventually.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

Mine has said shipping label created since April 4th. Its kinda irritating that my box is sitting at their warehouse for over 3 weeks now. I get that things are running a little slower, but they could have told customers that it was going to take 6 weeks to get their orders.

Finally received my box, immediately snipped the tassels off of the necklace, lol. I’ve learned through many years of subs that jewelry tassels don’t stay pretty for very long.

If you snip the tassels off two gold beads will lay together and there will be a small gap where the tassels were. So then I took a thread that I’d snipped off, wrapped it between the two beads where the tassels was, and voila! It’s as if the tassels never existed. 😉

Errmmm

That’s exactly what I planned on doing! Although I first imagined cutting the entire middle string off close to the place all 3 meet at the top area of the necklace (so 2 strands of just hanging beads would remain). As I thought more about it, removing the tassels then making sure it flowed nicely is a better plan. I hope mine will turn out well!

Janet

Still waiting for mine. Ordered on the 3rd.

I received my replacement box today (1 of the 2 boxes I ordered hadn’t managed to make it to me) and nothing is missing or broken. It took weeks to get a reply to my messages, but Popsugar made it right. Looking forward to enjoying all the bowls. Having 2 sets makes it easier for when I eventually have guests again.
If you have not received a response from them, trying the social media sites listing your order number in a DM might help. I hope they have replaced your missing items.

Oz

I ordered 1 on the 4th and split the 2 box deal with someone else last week. I have not received the shipping notice for either of my boxes, but the person I split with has gotten the shipping notice. I honestly can’t figure out their shipping system with that one. Thankfully, I don’t have to gift anything from the box for at least a month. I hope you receive your box soon and live it.

Oz

Does anyone want to do a split with me (I will order the 2 boxes and have one sent to you if you pay for half of it)? If so, please let me know. With tax it would be $39.75 for each of us.

Reply ButtonReply

liz

hi! im interested! whats your email?

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley

Is anyone still looking for to split the box ?

Mika

Hi Liz,
Did you find someone to split the box with? If not I’ll split it with you.

Oz

Hi! Thanks for your reply. I already split a box set with someone else, but it looks like several people are interested in sharing. Good luck and stay safe!

Jen

Thanks Reeb!

Glad we could share in this deal. For anyone else who may be curious, they made it very simple. I was able to select the color of the necklace for each order. The Gold glasses was the only option left. At checkout, I was able to assign 2 separate ship to addresses. Super easy, and was able to use my regular email that I’ve used with them before (no need to create yet another email address for a deal.. lol).

Hope that helps others!
Jen

Just ordered; cannot resist a good deal!
I was wondering if they’d let me send one directly to someone else as a gift; and the answer is, yes, and they make it easy. I was able redirect one, which is great. No struggling with the PO or lines or… anything!

Cheers!

Jennifer

Does anyone know if the cream color part on the bottom of the bowls is a grainy texture or the smooth porcelain?

Reply ButtonReply

KW

The beige portion is slightly rough/sandy textured (not smooth).

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

Just received an email with an offer to get two boxes for the price of 1 with promo code SPRINGGIFT… I’ve been holding out but this is tempting!

Reply ButtonReply

Sherry

If you don’t want two boxes, let me know if you want to split it. I will pay for my half.

Reply ButtonReply

Sherry

That’s an awesome deal! I especially like that it is a one time buy and that you don’t have to sign up for a subscription and be worried about being charged full price for the following month. This was my worry with the first $30 off coupon. Do you know if you can customize each box differently?

Reply ButtonReply

Colleen

Hi, I just ordered a box was not given any information if I’m getting this box, which I hope I am. How will I know if it’s the spring box? Also I wasn’t given a choice about the necklace shade is it because they ran out I’m hoping for the one in picture thank you.

Reply ButtonReply

Janet

I ordered this box also and wasn’t given a choice so I’m assuming they will include whatever is left. Also I ordered this on the 3rd and have not heard anything about shipping.

Reply ButtonReply

Mel

Hi Janet, I also ordered on 03/30, I was sent a shipping confirmation 4 days ago but it has never been scanned 🙁

Errmmm

After subscribing, they send you an email through which you can access your account and the site and that’s when you make your choices for the glasses and the necklace. I just ordered mine a couple days ago and I was able to choose for each item so you definitely should have been able to choose back on April 3rd for sure.

Lesly

Hi Colleen, you have to go back into your account subscriptions to make the choices. I think this box is still not sold out so you should be getting this one!

Reply ButtonReply

Colleen

Thank you 🙂

Jen

Hi –

I see this box is still featured with “Review + Coupon”, but none of the codes seem to work (SPRING30 or MSA20).

Is there another coupon available, or is this one sold out?

Reply ButtonReply

MSA

Hi Jen!

MSA20 is still active. This will save you $20 when you sign up for a quarterly subscription, it can’t be applied to an annual subscription. Hope that helps!

Reply ButtonReply

Cb

So when do we have to cancel by before we we’re to get charged for the next box? I just don’t know what will happen with our jobs with this virus so it be nice to know before I purchase this box.

Thanx for any advice

Reply ButtonReply

Carmen

I contacted popsugar and they confirmed that they are experiencing shipping delays and it might take two weeks or longer for the box to ship.
I ordered the box a couple days ago for a friend and canceled the next day without any issues to ensure I will not be billed for the summer box.

Reply ButtonReply

Samara Moluf

Is the necklace still available in blue?

Reply ButtonReply

Beautyfiend

Its saying that MSA20 is not a valid code. Anyone else having issues?

Reply ButtonReply

Oz

Try Spring30. It is $30 off if it’s still working.

Reply ButtonReply

Errmmm

Oz I love you!

Just signed up for this box – it’s simply too divine to let slip through my fingers. And with your coupon, I’m getting it for about half the cost of the facial mist. WHAT?!?!?!?! I feel like I scored big time.

I figured, I need bowls (mine are literally decades old and chipped), I love Glow and the facial mist brand, the necklace looks adorbs on Liz and I got it in blue, and I even dig crystals! I’m SOOOOOOO excited.

Thank you! You made my day!

Beautyfiend

Thanks! I was able to get it with that code.

Joyce

The bowls in this box are very nice. I am really enjoying those!

Reply ButtonReply

LG

Does anyone have any experience with the blue light glasses?
It’s the only item I think I’d use from the box, so I’m thinking of ordering a pair direct from the manufacturer – presuming they are in a position to safely fulfill orders.

Reply ButtonReply

Caroline

Yeah! I actually have a pair from the brand they sent, got them on clearance for about $10. The lenses are a bit blue tinted which takes a little getting used to but I do find my eyes are less tired with them. The only thing is being good and remembering to put them on.

Reply ButtonReply

Resa

I bought mine through my bespoke post sub (spectrum box) last month and they are a life saver! I didn’t realize how affected I was staring at my 2 monitors at work all day. My vision has vastly improved (I thought old age was catching up to me) and my light headaches after lunch are gone.

Reply ButtonReply

LJ

Thanks! I’ll look up what brand they sent.

Carmen

@Liz, do you know when this box might ship if I would order it today? I would like to gift it to a friend but her birthday is coming up soon. If I remember correctly Popsugar is located in Cali and might be shut down?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

POPSUGAR confirmed that both of their warehouses are still open and they are still shipping orders. I’ll follow up to see how soon you should expect it to ship if you place an order today.

Reply ButtonReply

Sandy

Liz they have confirmed that they are having shipping delays. So while the warehouse might be open they are delayed.

JenM

I signed up again with the deal and a forgotten credit (nice surprise). Does anyone know they charge for the Summer box? Just want to make sure that I know when this auto-renews.

Reply ButtonReply

Caroline

I think you have to cancel by the first week in June. They charged me in error for this one and tried to tell me that I was supposed to cancel by March 8th but luckily I had my email for proof.

Reply ButtonReply

Coco

What email did you have, and what cancellation date was in that email for the Spring box?

On the PSMH website, in the FAQ’s, “what is your cancellation policy?”, it states that you can cancel only after receiving your first quarterly box, and the Summer box must be cancelled by April 15. (Spring box by February 1). I think that information was posted when they first switched to the quarterly boxes, not sure if it’s still accurate. But I just ordered the Spring box on sale, and hope that I have it in time to cancel the Summer box.

MzBev

Who remembers the box with a roll of tissue?! I think it was from Target, long time ago! Now the wipes. hey…won’t the new Target box come tomorrow? Maybe another roll of tissue! Never underestimate the necessities.

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

I had a $20 referral credit so with the $30 coupon I picked this box up for $25! I’m so excited! I chose the blue necklace and black glasses, can’t wait. I’m especially happy with the bowls and the Glow Recipe eye cream, and the tea! And Clorox wipes!

Reply ButtonReply

Thazin Latt

I would love to have this box for 25$, but new referral and 30$ off don’t stack. I don’t think the box worth 45$. The necklace and rocks aren’t that exciting…

Reply ButtonReply

pb

did you try it and go all the way to end? was able to stack for Fall box

Emilia

I still dislike this box. I don’t need any mismatched tableware, I won’t let retinol anywhere near my eyes wrinkles be damned, the necklace still looks incredibly cheap and like a handmade flea market find, the glasses are a total gimmick not to mention useless to anyone with prescription glasses, the crystals are just a joke. That leaves the mist. I have enough skincare for 2 years. Sorry, 3 wipes don’t excite me. Bring on the tea!

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

So just don’t get the box, then. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Reply ButtonReply

Darlene

I think she already bought it.

nika

my exact thought!

Black glasses – stylish, looooove them!
Tableware – super cute and pretty colors, great for Easter
Mist – Omorovicza is one of my fav brand (which I would not buy full price) WIN
Eye mask – I use it as a night eye cream and love (light and gentle)
Tea, wipes – nice addition
Crystals – I am learning about them, they look pretty in my bedroom 🙂

Necklace – not my thing, oh well!

Christine M

I only want those Clorox wipes from this box 🤣🤣

Reply ButtonReply

pb

totally! wish there were more!

Reply ButtonReply

Laura Hon

Being in quarantine we’re really not going out and this box couldn’t have been better timed and I think I can use some of these in my teen daughter’s Easter basket! I’ve been wondering how we were going to handle that this year. She would probably love the whole box but I’m keeping the skin care, necklace, and crystals for me and giving her the rest. Yay! I was so bummed with the spoilers but the rest made up for it.

Reply ButtonReply

PILAR

Odd things for a teen Easter basket but okay…. Lol

Reply ButtonReply

Tiffany Pree

So your giving her the glasses, bowls & tea. & she’s a teen???

I went shopping for mine about 4-5 weeks ago. Dropped $125 at Sephora and have it ready to go. I pre planned it. Wasn’t hard. I knew mail was slower then usual.

Reply ButtonReply

Darlene

Lol right?! Sorry but no teenage girl wants that stuff.

Jennifer

Jealous of everyone who scored those Clorox wipes. Would have been worth it just to have that extra disinfectant here in New York right about now! 😂

Reply ButtonReply

Chris Hall

I caved and signed up again after seeing the review. I can do without the necklace but for $45 it is a great box. Thanks for the fantastic review!

Reply ButtonReply

Daisy

$45? How?

Reply ButtonReply

judy

Use code SPRING30 …. this is thanks to a wonderful lady who shared with that info last night… 😎👍🏻

Beth

It was an ok box for me. Nothing really wowed me.

I have a thing about texture and although the bowls are very pretty, I don’t like that the bottom half of them is unglazed.

Also, I thought that the rose quartz was to be a tower crystal, but instead it is a sphere.

That necklace is…ugh. Totally not my style. But as someone who makes jewelry, I plan to trim off the tassels (WHEN will those things ever end???), and try to see if I can replace them with something (charms, etc). Either that or I will just take apart the whole necklace and use the parts individually.

But I do appreciate the wipes!! And the moisture mist. And I’m looking forward to trying the eye cream.

Reply ButtonReply

h

My rose quartz came in a polished, sizeable, round sphere, with an included square glass stand with a polished indentation to display it. I thought that was a very nice touch. My crystal set is very beautiful. I subscribed to a great Wicca-based jewelry subscription and have amassed quite a nice array of beautiful crystals. I don’t currently subscribe, though, so the set is appreciated.

Reply ButtonReply

Julia

My rose quartz crystal was a tower crystal…I guess it was random. Not sure though. There was a tower one in the spoiler.
