So, at noon, I started refreshing the page, it popped up, I put it in the cart, added two samples and two items from the rewards and clicked checkout and it was sold out! All in less than 5 minutes. I call B-llSh!t! I’m done with Sephora.

I tried today at noon, and it was still sold out from yesterday…..Its Bull-crap that they do not save any for people that had to wait until today to order…..And they should have limited it to one per person,if they knew they were going to run out…..Now that they no longer have the Play box,a lot of those subscribers like me are going to want the Luxe Box…..I think they need to make the same amount of the Luxe Boxes, that matches the number of subscribers that had,and then add a few more…..I can see this is going to be a pain in the butt every month, and there are going to be a lot of upset people over this.

I was able to – also logged on right at noon quick put them in my cart, skipped the samples & promo (hated you miss out on a gwp spending $50.) & just immediately hit checkout, I think that’s the only reason why I was successful in that 1-2 minute window. It isn’t right …. you should check back tomorrow, maybe they held dime back for the regular beauty insiders/ non- members?

I had everything set to go- added a cheap placeholder item so I could add samples. When it went live I added it and typed in the promo and was good to go.
I realize that it is limited edition but I wish that Sephora would realize that a lot of people like this kind of thing (especially) during a sale). Limiting it to two per person is a start. I keep checking back to see if it has come back in stock for non Rouges but so far it hasn’t.
Sarah J
Oh, I probably will… 😉 I’m glad you got yours!

Does anyone knows what size these will be? I really don’t want to waste my money for tiny products when I could get full-size products with Ipsy Plus instead.

Hard pass. Not a cruelty free “bag,” but also the same items like Play! had.

Sephora!! You are making a terrible mistake. Bring back PLAY!!

Agreed! This box is awful! No interesting products whatsoever.
BRING BACK THE PLAY BOX!!🙌

Sephora sucks now. Compare to IPSY. IPSY Glam Plus Bag is $25 and it includes FULL SIZE products and deluxe sizes, too. Better than Sephora LUXE for the same price, such a rip-off for tiny samples. Go to IPSY and you will not regret! I love ISPY more than ever! I signed up IPSY Ultimate Bag $50, even better products than LUXE. Try IPSY. and Birchbox is great too.

I went to check it out this morning and it does have a 2 per person limit, so there *should* be some for any Rouge who wants one today at Noon PT. I’m still contemplating… I get Ipsy, Ipsy Plus, Allure, and Boxycharm & Boxycharm Luxe… (Nah, I don’t have a problem! haha)
Susan
I really liked Sephora Play! when it first started and it was my favorite box but now it’s Macy’s box. After I started getting a lot more perfumes and smaller samples from Sephora I quit.
Soscha
Too many bad experiences with Luxe. People log in to buy multiple Luxe boxes for predatory resale.
I’m Rouge, but I’m just assuming this will sell out with a minute since it has a La Mer product.
Yolanda
This should be like 12$ lol no bag? No points? 😐.

I love the flower bomb perfume and the lamer moisturizer. My tiny sample I got from sephora has lasted a long time. I would be tempted to get this box if it had 2 full sized products or at least 1.

Slightly OT, but the Sephora Favorites Mystery Lip Kit is now on sale for $9, originally $16.
The kit includes,
– 0.07 oz/ 2.1 g Bite Beauty Multistick in Almond
– 0.1 oz/ 3 mL Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Ludwig
– Sephoji pin
Plus one of the below items:
– 0.05 oz/ 1.5 mL Ciaté London Glitter Flip in Infamous
– 0.07 oz/ 2 g Grande Cosmetics GrandeLIPS: Hydrating Lip Plumper in Clear Gloss
– 0.06 oz/ 2 mL NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment in Starwoman
As of this post, it’s still available. 🙂

I fell for that lip maestro meme once. i’ve never encountered a more slippery, messy, and impossible to wear product. what a waste. nothing at all in this box for me!! If viktor & rolf put a big ol sample of magic sage spell or magic salty flower in here, it would be an entirely different story.
It’s a *yawn* from me. My wallet is safe!!

Try ISPY! They include full size products in both Glam Plus and Glam Ultimate for better prices. They have excellent customer service, 10x better than Sephora!

25 bucks for samples?? What a ripoff

I hope that Sephora has added additional quantity of these boxes for those who are not Rouge level members. It is so disappointing that when the LE Luxe boxes are added they are never available and sell out immediately.

I recently read that in addition to Sephora focusing on Favorites kits & Luxe boxes now that their sub has ended, they’re also going to be adding two new “lines” of kits that are supposed to come out frequently called “Hello” and “Pop”… the Hello box will include 5 samples for $10, and the Pop kit will have 6 items for $15. Besides a one item difference, I don’t know what makes the Pop kit be $5 more. I’m thinking maybe it’ll include one “luxe” item(?). They’re supposed to be coming out after the Luxe box. Good news is, is that the Luxe box will be coming out during Sephora’s Spring sale! So if you’re going to get it, don’t forget to use code SPRINGSAVE to get your discount! 🙂

Aw man the box itself is so pretty, but I’m dying for new products in these luxe boxes! Isn’t that exact Armani liquid lip a 100 point reward right now??

Redwoods301
That was definitely the issue with Play!, it was a box of Sephora best-sellers/things they have to push, not actually new beauty products.

Emma
Yeah… I think the box is the best part of that.

I will be strong until I find out the size of the Sulwhasoo. I love that stuff.

You can buy the Sulawahsoo on eBay in a two pack set of serum and cream for a song. It ships from Korea, but it is pretty fast. I bought a ten pack of Sulawahsoo sheet masks for $29. Free shipping. Love those masks. Planning on one tomorrow. Went a little nuts and self-tanned my face with St. Tropez spray face self tan… big mistake. The mask should be a first step to recovery😊

Based on the photos, the Sulwhasoo serum looks like the 8ml deluxe sample that’s often included with GWP kits. These run about $5 each from Korea from reputable sellers. P.S. I’m a diehard Sulwhasoo fan, too, and that product has been in my routine for nearly four years. 🙂

Big nope for me. Just got the flowerbomb in allure and they always have the la mer and this or the ysl gold primer in all the luxe boxes. And another red lippie? Why not a pretty springy coral or pink.

I agree, too. I think the fragrance is in Glossybox as well. It’s being pushed hard.

Jennifer
The Glossybox is a flanking perfume – Flowerbomb nectar. Supposedly, it’s a smokier and more gourmand version of Flowerbomb.
I got Glossybox and Allure this month just for the perfumes, lol.
Got my Allure already and love Flowerbomb. About 20 minutes after wearing it does spike in sweetness and almost is too much, but then quickly cuts back.

If you mainly want the Flowerbomb, get Allure through Amazon this monthfkr the perfume. Glossybox has a variation, too, with Flowerbomb nectar.

Lauralee
I’m confused. I’m not seeing Flowerbomb in the Allure spoilers for March, April, or May.
Kathy
Thanks for saying that about Amazon. I have been tempted to subscribe again through Allure just for the perfume, but I figured I would get the alternate product which I wouldn’t use. I just took your advice!
Lia
Do you know the sizes of each product? xx
Reply
Michelle
No, but the La Mer does not look like the .24 oz of past boxes- it looks small & it usually has the size printed on the bottom front of the label too- I think it’s one of those tiny tiny ones- hopefully not but this & the last one didn’t seem as “luxe” as previous versions to me. Hoping for the best though!!

I agree. Why do they keep putting the same products in these bags. There are soooo many new proxy’s and brands out there

Actually, I think this is incredibly boring. At least three of the products have been in past boxes. I was hoping for something new. Plus, IMHO la mer -literally – stinks. I just can’t get past the smell!
Reply
Melissa
I agree! I do not like flowerbomb and do not understand the obsession with it lol! I don’t do red lipstick, the rest meh! I like la mer ok, but not enough to get this. But that’s ok, I don’t need to be ordering anything right now so it’s for the best.

To me, the stinkbomb is that Flowerbomb perfume. A bomb indeed. Wish sub boxes would stop sticking it in. And I agree about the “yawn” factor here.

I don’t care for it either, haven’t bought hardly any beauty boxes that would carry it in the past 2-3 years, and still have a bunch.
At least it is better than Harvey Prince?
Erica P
I’m not interested in this box either. Boring!!!

Make that three! I can’t stand the smell. Now Amore Pacific Youth Revolution is divine smelling!
